    Can anyone explain this?!

People lie about having garages. Often cars are insured as being in a garage and the one night the claim happens it isn't. Stuff falls down in garages. Neighbours notice if your car is gone on the road. In a garage people don't notice for much longer when it's stolen. If the car caught on fire...

    DCI 80 intercooler fitting

Looked at his fitting earlier and it looks like he had the same problem with the A/C condenser

    WOW that's cheap!

I think he'll probably get £2000 for it. A few nice track cars breaking at the moment because any 182 is worth pennies. Good point on racing red though @l33th3tr33

    DCI 80 intercooler fitting

Had about 30 mins spare today so tried to chuck on the dci 80 intercooler. Bar the lower pipe missing a 90 degree bend into the turbo I was wondering how people have mounted the intercooler. I've got A/C so the rad and condenser are all in one. The A/C pipe gets in the way of the top...

    Welding shut the sunroof

Coops Turbo that looks awesome and is what I'd love to do. I wasn't aware it was to be so difficult to tack in a panel without having warping issues which a few seem to have encountered I'll probably get seals as replacing the roof skin is a little more expensive than I wanted. Both seals are...

    Welding shut the sunroof

It's already been siliconed once before I bought it but maybe I could do it again. If I were to do the roof skin how much of a ball ache is that then. Car smells like cheese at the moment it's so wet!

    Welding shut the sunroof

RANT Over the last couple of days I've completely had enough of this crazy leaking sunroof so want rid. How easy is it going to be to bin in. Of course I've got the 182 breaking so could cut a panel from that roof and pop it in. Ideas..... I'm sure a few people wouldn't mind having this done :)

    Flooded Box Hill - Surrey

Yalding, Benover, Laddingford and some of East Peckham are like Atlantis. Drove past the road into Laddingford today and it was closed and full of water over 2 miles from the village. Damn hangover cure cafe got flooded :'( Great Flickr photo's. I'm sure the papers or news would love those...

53 Plate DCi 3dr Leaking, possibly sunroof?

Make sure the drain holes in the sunroof don't have junk in them and that the foam strip is seated correctly. Mine do at the moment and when I park on level ground or with the car facing down hill it leaks. No leak if up hill. You can remove the glass by pushing in the red clip on the handle...

    DCI Remap

I'm desperate for an intercooler but my girl friend won't donate hers from her nicer 65! Pretty sure a map for the 65 has been done before by Henk but can't find the thread

    DCI Remap

Evening folks Just wondering if I will be able to do a remap on the DCI using the RS tuner. I ask as I'm looking to sell it soon and thought I may as well use it on my other Cilio before it goes. I know I'd have to unlock it to this car. It's a dci 65 2002 expression + Fastchip ? If remaped...

RB Bexhill having some road rage

Well I think the reg was MD04 or something. You got angry on a roundabout, zoomed off to pull in front of the car that had annoyed you, opened your door and so did the other man, had a chin wag and zoomed off. Cheer up, it's Christmas you guff!

    Red immobiliser light staying on????

MicKPM Thanks Mick, doesn't sound kind on the wallet to me. oh great! What do I need to change/have programmed to sort that then. I'm breaking my 182 at the moment so would any of the bits from that help me out. I'll make sure I don't break the news to my girlfriend until I know what to do :)

    Red immobiliser light staying on????

Holy thread revival Batman Got this problem at the moment intermittently on the DCI, does the same with both keys so that rules them out. What can I check before getting clip plugged in. Nothing shows on RS tuner :)

That sounds great Alex; RS tuner doesn't like the DCI. @Seans6 121k now, bought on 106 and the problem hasn't got anyworse. As Dan seems to have worked out, it's only when you tank it. I put in 1:200 on the 2 stroke oil which is (works out on calculator) the same as alex. Does make the car...

EGR valve is squeeky clean and I clean it everytime I service the car (every 10K). Have done it twice since buying. A fault within the EGR it's self then that cleaning cannot rectify? Car starts absolutely fine, probably could do with new glowies but obviously they aren't running when warmed...

Calling DCI owners! Gis a 'and

Since I've owned Claude he has this little light which comes on when you put your foot to the floor. It's not all the time it's only when he's really having to work for his speed, going flat out up hill and I'm trying to keep the momentum or when accelerating hard beyond 60. When it happens...

Dual optics HID's and various LED's

If you want it to look standard then I would used 4300k, standard for most production cars with xenons, as McGherkin says 6000k is bluer, giving more of a modified car look. Of course it depends what you're after though :)
