I've bought their bits now.
After reading various reviews I got my Dad Poorboys natural look as he can apply it with a brush as he's old fashioned. However I will probably get him something for his leather as he doesn't seem to understand how to care for the interior/exterior and I'd like to...
Sorry I should have explained a little better. There are 2 versions of Glass's and Caps.
The one from their website is incorrect for insurance purposes and it says this in the small print. Glass's evaluator is the trade version and there is a similar program made by cap. I believe Renault used...
Calls are ALL recorded so it's as good as in writing. Only old fashion companies still request simple things in writing or by FAX (when will this end). Calling is what puts people on the spot, doesn't give them time to dither and think of an excuse and it's the best way to get business done if...
You can find the last point out on the parrot website. You may have to swap around the 12v feeds in the loom around to ensure the parrot isn't on when the ignition is off.
Wiring diagrams are also supplied by parrot. http://www.parrot.com/uk/installation
If it's HPI clear then it's either unrecorded and modified at repair or had someone with very very very deep pockets own it.
Does look nice though. Some genuine m3 alloys would finish it off nicely
Second hand but as a pair from the same car. I spent the difference between the second hand cost and new cost on getting a Wayne Rooney hair transplant, 10K or so ;)
Exactly the same happened to a friend of mine. The piston was an ornament at work for a bit. You could see the gudgeon pin from the top!
Can remember why it happens. Believe that cylinder burnt lean for some reason and got very hot.
Not that I've heard of. If it was I'd like to think it would be a recall due to danger of "track steering" suddenly.
No seriously, it wasn't one of the things on my huge list of common faults when I was buying a DCI.
I also spliced onto the old cable which came out of the ECU plug. There's a fair bit of copper in the original. The amp rating is based on how long the wire is from the positive to the ground so I'm confident that it's 100% up to the job.
My only other though can be the ecu is dead.
I'd come...
That really is spot on advice there. If you work with the approach "what will they need" you can pre-empt everything and have a far quicker resolution.
If you can't read through the whole policy you should run through the key facts, schedule for excesses and general exclusions.
Unfortunately...
I think the fuse would have gone if it wasn't up to atleast the clicking job. I used a 60A fuse in mine. Should be near the battery like in the below photo.
That splice connector is what I have used to connect up my 12v ignition.
Just to make sure, you have the white from the control box as a...
They really aren't. The majority of peoples energy bills have gone up more than their car insurance in the last year as it's such a competitive market.
If you read your documents you always get what you're entitled to, nothing more and nothing less. Sometimes the offer is a little less, that's...
You can just unbolt the archliners in the arch section, pop the grill out of th front pannel and then remove from the wing brackets. Then pull it down enough. Saves getting under the car
The company I used to work for would use it to decide what level of cover they will offer you. TPFT and comp or just comp.
Of course the items such as sunglass's will be uninsured losses under your policy so you would always have to provide evidence of the loss. As in one of the first posts I...
What you've written on your policy, unless it's agreed value means nothing. It will be for underwriting purposes and nothing more. The majority of mainstream insurers offer market value which they will base on examples.
It depends on which insurer it is whether they go in with best offer first...
It is impossible to get a perfect colour match between plastic and metal. With some metallics they need to paint flash cards to see which matches the existing paint best. An example would be Dolphin grey Audis as it's hard to match.
Clean and re photo. I'm with the others on that. Then people...
Thought as much. Don't want to supply data which is useless to them.
I think I'm going to do, wash (DJ supernatural), clay (bilthammer soft and DJ born slippy), prewax (revive) and then 2 coats of my normal wax and AF. I wash my car weekly so am after tips on how often I should reapply another...
