    Needs more stickers imo

That's like my friends "professionally lowered" vw where they hadn't greased up the threads and had rounded off the top of the struts. On the urban dictionary "professionally" means "done cheap by a mate". <just made that up. Looks terrible, rare with full leather though

Any body shop will do the non texturised ones. A few might not like doing the rough bits

Insurers using replica Parts rather than OEM

That's why its pattern ;) just slight difference in need of a little wiggling. Chip-mk1 The insignia has worse visability than pete tong when he's happy. Impossible not to crash or hit stuff in them.

Insurers using replica Parts rather than OEM

What insurer is that, they must be crazy, we used to be more than happy to do that if they put in writing/email/recorded call that they were happy for it to happen. Used to save a little too. He has the right to have that rack fitted if he wants

Insurers using replica Parts rather than OEM

The insurer I used to work for was heading towards no pattern parts as it was causing complaints. You would be surprised how many more cars are repairable because the DAL parts are so much cheaper. as gally says though, too late, there is usually a clause saying we may use replica or green parts

Auto Finesse product test - Iron Out and Spirit

Auto Finesse Update time Sorry guys, been rather busy the last few days. Finally got a chance to wash the DCI yesterday. Performance, I have still been noticing tighter beading on the AF than the DJ which is nice to see. I've done about 1000 miles since the wax was put on. I noted this last...

Auto Finesse product test - Iron Out and Spirit

Good evening everyone. Unfortunately I haven't had any spare time at home in daylight to wash the car to see the performance. I did however manage to grab this as I left this morning. Both acting very similarly in the frost. I wouldn't however expect a difference. I thought it was a nice shot...

    Iceberg Silver 2001 Clio 172

Same thoughts about the back. That 3m kit did wonders on the headlights! I'd do a FULL sus refresh first and then a cup spoiler would be my next change

    Colour coding

Most of the plastic bits you want to get done with be texturised. It would be best to get ones which are already painted and therefore smooth. Then have those painted. Handles, wingmirrors, spoiler and sidestrips are all available in smooth form. Front and rear bumper inserts I'm not so sure about

Auto Finesse product test - Iron Out and Spirit

I find the DJ is almost to hard to make it easy to use although I have got through it at a much slower rate. It really was the buffing off that surprised me, do 2 panels, wipe the first off, cover another, wipe the oldest etc. The DJ seems to take quite a bit longer to dry but unfortunately I...

Auto Finesse product test - Iron Out and Spirit

Slight delay due to the 'orrible weather. I managed to get a second coat of both waxes on. A little more thinking whilst applying. I do get through the AF quicker than the DJ. This however does have advantages. It's easier to see on the car and is substantially easier to buff off. I seems to...

Auto Finesse product test - Iron Out and Spirit

Thank you AutoFinesse is the first thing I need to say. Just to give a bit of background so everyone knows where I am in the car cleaning ranks. I love a clean car but like most people I rarely find the time to spend a whole day doing the million steps to get a flawless finish. I have never...
