Mug imo, i would rather rent a car and let a renault specialist do it even if it did take a bit longer, would have probably had the car off the road for a week and spend around 1000 max sorting it.

could be an abs brake pump / servo issue?

seem to have a lot of people with problems on the rear catches on 5 door models.

if your lighter fuse has blown it stops the radio going off with the ignition as well.

had loads of seats stitched by trimmers, after we have refitted the airbag that is.

aux belt tensioner gets noisy when turning if the bearing is on its way out, very common on the 1*2's.

sad times :( i still prefer the Non RS mk2's to the mk3's. Not worked on any mk3's though yet.

insurance mainly and tuneability , but i think your right to some extent, fast, nice trim, good looks etc.

im not sure if you can do that on the renaults, you can on fords, We do a complete lockset with key blade for 40 + Delivery.

probably doesn't see the need to, i personally am not sure of the significance.

clio sport, Not Renaultsport clio which is what yours is. On a side note the exhaust does ruin the look somewhat.

as said 3rd gear synchro is a problem, they are not a bad box really considering the age of the design and the RS Clios generally get quite a lot of stick.

1) Don't take it to renault. Take it to a transmission specialist and let them have a drive, It does sound like the box has had it, do you struggle selecting gears eg: when setting off does it go into the gates ok? if it is fine at going into gears its unlikely to be the clutch.
