yeh exactly, ball joint either needs to break where the ball fits in the cup, or come out of where it locates in the hub, which shouldn't be possible unless the bolt is missing, so if the bolt is missing there is blame.

wouldn't mention it myself as the braided lines could just have been replaced OEM ones same with pads and disks, doesn't mean you asked for that type to be fitted.
he is extremely good at his job, he used to work for aston martin doing body repairs before he moved up north, says yours is looking good anyway and the quarter panel hadn't needed to be replaced once jigged it popped right out.

as above they only sell the complete arm with balljoint for all the 172/182's. The normal clio ones bolt spacing is different where it bolts to the arm, some places do non genuine but the only time i have ever bought a non genuine one for an RS they gave it as the same part for all including...
