So i should get rid of the shims then? Wouldn't the pads rattle about without them though? As there wouldn't be a surface for them to run on?
God my saxo's were much simpler than this thing!
Right after fitting new discs and pads to the front, my brakes are seriously squeling on the one side. its getting to the point where its so bad its f**king embarrasing in towns!
The pads themselves move freely in the carrier, i have used copper grease in the sliders and on the backs of pads...
Aye the pass side is gone and clicking away when on full lock. Quite a bit of play in it aswell. Which is why I was maybe just going to do both shafts to save draining and filling the gearbox twice, as the other cv boot has came off so I dont know how long it will last till it starts clicking...
My passenger side cv boot is gone (clicking away) but I have noticed that the cv boot on the drivers side has been off at some point (nice circular trail of cv joint grese everywhere lol)
So I was thinking about just replacing both driveshafts at the same, save having to possibly drain and...
Alright cheers guys. Ill try replacing the filter then. The master socket? As in the one downstairs? It has a phone line plugged into it, which goes up to the phone line connector box in my room. Which the phone and router are plugged into microfilter.
Can that be fixed? or not?
Right turns out the other phone downstairs isn't connected to the phone line, (works wirelessly with the other phone) So the way it goes:
Phone line socket in downstairs living room, phone line wire goes up to the phone line socket in my bedroom.
Micro filter is connected to that phone line in...
Right my internet keeps cutting off for about 10 seconds whenever someone uses the house phone. What could be causing this, and how can i stop it? Gets rather annoying tbh! And no, its not a dial up connection :p
Re: Inferno 182
Thanks man. Means a lot to me to hear that from the previous owner! I will be taking care, no need to worry about that. :D
Ill offer it to you first then when I come to sell it. Which wont be anytime soon though! Unless I come into a large sum of money and can afford a megane...
Re: Inferno 182
Got it sprayed a while ago now, the colour match is perfect tbh. Really happy with how it turned out!
Also winter is bad! :(
Seems to be running a bit rich :S
Well stripped them this evening again, ground some more off the ends of the pads, and now it seems to only squel when using the brakes going slow. Might just leave it a while then, as they stop the car fine.
Might have to do this if it still doesn't sort itself. Cheers.
Right so I recently fitted new brakes to the front, Brembo HC discs and ferodo Ds2500 pads. (first time iv had to grind down the ends of a pad to fit it, disappointed in the quality for the price of them!!)
Anyway, I now think the front drivers caliper is binding. Drivers side sqeals a lot, and...
If you let it get to the correct temperatures then it would be fine no?
My dad does this with his "decent" car and his bike every winter and they have both been fine.
As said, they can be a bit crashy, but I dont mind them tbh. My car is not a "hardcore track weapon" so I dont feel the need to change dampers..
I have 50 profiles as well. Maybe its just the angle of the pic?
