I'm struggling to diagnose my problem, only get a miss fire when it's either rained very very heavy and Theres loads and loads of spray or when it's raining heavy on the motorway :/ I just got it a minute a go, but then went for a drive a bit later and it still done it only around 4k , but...

the ship ? wheres that ? i do often go up there. also forgot to say now getting a knocking noise, i believe it to be the regular sub frame knocking but i have both poli bushed dog bone mount and solid engine mounts so not to sure what it could be :/

just a little video nothing special just after being fitted, also it actually isnt that loud i have a rough db reading and was 80/83 on tick over and at 4500 with no load it was 95-97db's

i spoke to someone there as well and he said it was that loud he said it will pass a few track rules but be too loud for others, and it is only the back box pipe which is bigger the actual system is the same so dnt really think it will be much louder than jewon172's

that does sound nice and yer like u say it is pretty loud already so mine will prob be even louder :eek:

we will soon find out once its fitted ktec say that the group N is 96 db's so would imagine the group A to be around a 100 or so :S its only the back box that is the difference between the two

I'm thinking of converting the Clio to studs and nuts rather than bolts. Want to run 10 mm spacers on the rear and 15-20mm on the front. If I was to buy 50mm Studs would this be enough thread for the spacer,wheel and nut ? Any one had any opinions or experience with this sort of set...

I wouldn't have thought so not with a 172 with a 182 may be a different story Becaise of the cut outs in the bumper :S

I'll try that then jack, hopefully a solid engine mount will help so most of the movement and any excessive vibration.

recently started getting some vibration when accelerating hard, git under the car and had a look and notice that the anti roll bar was really close the the exhaust like so, that surely is far to close for the exhaust to sit :dapprove: ? i then searched the forum for "anti rool bar...

Any body got a clever ways to go about removing the top engine mount ? Oviously still needs to be supported and didnt no how people done this ? Thanks dan

Re: 172 Cup track toy! Yer the rear adjusters can be removed I believe, don't think there is any problems when doing this
