i love falkens, i rate em very highly, in the wet too.
only other tyres ive tried are avons and personally i reckon the are awful. even worse in the wet, the car drifts accross the road on em, pathetic.
i wouldnt mind tryin out some toyo proxies tho........or some bridgestones.

hmmm car seems to run fine tho, although the alt is making a weird whiring sound so im wondering if that wire has anything to do with that or its just the belt is too tight
Ray
hmmmm im not sure mate - my mates maxim had a piper 4 inch slash cut back box with a powerflow straight thro pipe. it sounded awesome even on a 1.4, with only 100rpm of rasp between 6000prm and 6100rpm.

if u imagine the knock sensor, then look to the left about 6 inches, so ur just about behind the gearbox side of the alt. then directly there where the...

thing is, is that the power gains from an induction are so minimal anyway that u wouldnt feel the "extra gain" anyway.
ppl like irvine and the f1 drivers struggle to feel an extra 15/20bhp when the fueling is altered when they are out on the track and can only tell when the lap times come in...
righty, take a look - *caution* not for the faint hearted 19 lovers ;)
