Battery on charge now back to the bleeding, I can hear creaking in the lines at the rear(possibly air?) But it won't come out. Put near to a litre of ATE super blue in now.
One other thing should the reservoir be touching the back of the engine block? It has to be pushed back to even get the...
That what I hope DrRollo, just plugged it in to a charger and it's 3/4s up the gauge to fully charged but I must admit some mornings it struggles especially in the cold. Fingers crossed! Cheers for the advice
Yeah I've always thought that I should get one just electrics not my thing- can't see it, it's a black art.
Right I'm a fool, with ignition on the battery light and the exclamation Mark is on so that means dead battery?
Yeah I tried rocking in gear as I thought if the starter was stuck it would dislodge it, I would say it does sound a bit weak tbh. Will try charging the battery first or bump/jumping it.
Don't have a volt meter unfortunately and not even sure how to use one, if the starter was stuck could I still bump start it? Just that was a thought I had that the starter may be jammed.
May just hook up a charger for a while and hope. Thanks
Replaces discs and pads and done a full bleed with ignition on and now my car just begins to start then stops like the power cuts or it seizes. Surely the only link to the brake maintenance is the fact the ignition was on? Doesn't seem like a low battery does it?
Followed the correct bleed procedure farthest first etc. But maybe not level ground, kept res.full but I now have spongy brakes and a creaky pedal. Sounds like air- my biggest fear!
Any tips?
Not had time to get it done yet and trying to find somewhere in Hereford that doesn't use bales of hay and bailer twine:)
You'd think I was asking for something out of the ordinary, most people I've spoken to ask why I want to check the camber? Why? Because I'm paying you to!
He went 'that's totally the wrong speed rating for your car' think he confused a182 for a hypercar. I accept that they are no Michelin pilot or pirellis but they are too my knowledge an acceptable speed rating(up to 130mph I think). As a manager of a shop myself I do hate being retailed.
I was talking to a tyre specialist in Hereford today and he told me the kumho kh17 I have on the front of my car are part of the reason my cars handling isn't what it was. He claims they are totally the wrong speed rating but they are 83V the same as the pilots on the back?!
Not sure what to...
The man speaks sense! I've checked front springs and rear and put new cup socks on last summer. Think I will have to find somewhere in Hereford that does decent alignment.
No it's just been recently but I see what you mean. I'm just trying to decide where to spend first as I can't plough that much into it. It's only fairly low miles, 56k so it's more age than miles. The bushes all appear in good condition but I know that doesn't mean they aren't shot and I've had...
I've fitted sportlines when I first got my 182 about two years ago and I get odd handling entering corners, is it possible that there is a small amount of camber movement in doing this that has caused this. There is a small amount of movement with the strut to hub bolts isn't there? What is the...
My not showed an imbalance of 8% front and 9% rear, it passed but is this to much? I want to even them up a bit so was thinking new pads and a clean and grease off the carriers and sliders.
I bought my iceberg not realising it was one until I read the paint code on the drivers side door thingy. I was quite excited at the time and now looking back I should have kept it
