Yeah I wonder if as the radio is pushed back the final bit the cable is pushing the plug out of position. It doesn't have the most positive connection. Could I get a new plug?
The stalk is dodgy minus the connects2, plug is ok so it must be a wire but I'm unsure how much dash needs removing to fit a new one. It must be the wiring as if I pull the radio out 2" it's OK, can't see any snags or trapped wires.
Im pulling my hair out, I've fitted a connects2 ctarnipod003.2 but my ipod disconnects from it constantly when turning the ignition off.
Also my steering wheel stalk is intermittent at best, checked the plug which is ok. Any ideas?
Right here is a weird one, I've bought a connects2 ipod system that replaces the autochanger. Fitted and all working, or so it sseemed. Weirdly all radio, cd work fine on all speakers but on ipod only the left hand side speakers work. Disconnected and reconnected and still the same? Surely...
My 182 is feeling like a mount has worn or so I think. When I'm coming to a stop or when braking hard I get a feeling through the pedals sort of a vibration . Another thing I've noticed is particularly when facing down hill on my drive reverse can be hard to select. Is this a worn engine mount...
I've got a scenic with the usual egr valve blocking problem, it's a euro 4. Is it as simple as remove egr and fashion a blanking plate from alloy to cover the hole leaving the egr plugged in if I want to delete it?
Standard is standard for a reason I guess, it's feels so much better now its back to standard on the rough roads around here. Anyone for some camber bolts?
I've just reused the metal collar and the upper (engine bay side) rubber bush.
I'm now thinking I've put the drivers side bearing in upside down so that's tonight's entertainment sorted
Just replaced my top mounts and there seems to be a change in design. My old ones had a metal collar inserted down through it that was missing in the new ones. Then the final part(inside the engine bay) in my old ones came as one with a raised collar that went over the but that holds the shock...
I'm putting new top mounts on tonight and track rod ends and I'm returning to standard camber.
Is there a rough way of setting it somewhere near if I can't get out of work to get it properly tracked so I can drive to work until my next days off?
I'm going to be replacing track rod ends and top mounts and I'm considering going back to original camber. Has anyone else gone back to standard and did it make much difference. I'm finding it very unstable on rougher streets/roads.
Fixed! It was the pre cat lambda sensor. now 0ppm Co.
And a plus is that it seems to go better and the reset trip is up to 43 mug after my 30 mile round trip to work which was previously 39
