Not sure but it passed the Hc apparently just the c02 if failed on oh and high level brake light failed. They said give it an oil change and thrash it before next test. Is an oil change really going to help, it is due one this summer.
Hi, my 182 has just failed on emissions, the readings from the two tests they ran were-
C02 7.06 then 6.62
Hc 236 then 186
Second test seemed to have been 15 mins after the first.
In all fairness I forgot to warm it up before the test, it's a standard cat with scorpion. Any ideas how to get...
My 182 lmu and head unit are having I few problems. First of all the stalk control stopped working then the display only works intermittently.
In all honesty I haven't had it apart to see if there is a loose connection just wondered if this is likely or is it something else.
Ultimately I'm paying good money to get tracking done and if they are having a problem getting the steering wheel straight surely for the 50 quid it cost the least they could do is check nothing has play in it. They have just mot'd it so and play should have been spotted by them and I've just...
Well it has no play in any joint and it was tracked fine until I put camber bolts on and asked them to correct my tracking, they have gone from right hand from to go straight to left hand down.
I'm aware tracking isn't as simple as the inner track rods showing equal thread though...
I wish i had more choice, is there a rule for number of rotations of the track rod to effect x amount of change? As it's tracked it's just a matter of me equally altering either side
Why can't my local tyre place get my steering wheel straight when doing my tracking. I've been back twice now and it's still 1-2 inches off straight. They also always blow torch the crap out of my track rod ends. Might just alter either side myself
Yeah mate, I've been told to go back next week if I want it checking again foc. I will get them to straighten it then but yeah it feels immense around corners now!
Not sure this is going to work but will give it a try, what should follow is the print out of my tracking done after fitting camber bolts. My local garage is crap so I need to go back to get my steering wheel straight but what do you lot think?
I wonder how necessary they are in reality, then I do live in the sticks. I can't see anyone stealing wheels off a ten year old car, tempting fate there maybe?
Oh I've read that thread Fred! Ha ha, well it looks roughly equal using measurements from the top of the wheel to the arch. Tracking needed now, you can hear the scrub pulling in to my drive.
So I had - 1.00 left, - 0.38 right camber and - 0.06 left, - 0.08 right toe.
I've then put camber bolts on to the max but my garage with hunter system says I now have less camber( roughly - 0.38 a side ) and toeing in 0.17.
How is this possible? They did say setting the toe back to - 0.06...
