Safety DEvices roll cage in my 182.
Not that it was bad, it was an awesoem bit of kit, it was the fact i decided to sell the car about a month after getting it installed, and cutting the base plates out was a b**ch.
That and it cost around £1400 fitted, and i only got £500 back for the...
Special offer on BTB's for collection at the French car show.
We will be doing these for £475.00!!!
System will have to be paid for before via bank transfer or personal cheque, or on the day in cash.
The lowdown...
Shed Motorsport Renault Sport Clio 182 Track Day Exhaust System...
and i thank that you can see its a quality product fred, but sorry, i cant return the favour, as i do beleive that although it looks well made, i just dont like the design.
Not saying that its bad, or saying the product is bad (evidently not as you have sold so many!), its just not my bag...
I feel the same, the older i get the less blood i want from my ear drums!
That and being able to give it full bore around a track without the fear of being asked to leave! lol
I would of thought they are based on the (superior) JDM versions, so will have equal length manifolds, so no flat 4 burble. But i havent managed to buy one yet so cant say for sure!
As for my take on the game, got it yesterday, played it for a few hours (got to level 13 i think), and i...
ah right, fair enough. Its a noise thing rather than performance etc. Just seems the YS are very popular, but i struggle to see why. cheers for the input! :D
i got 7.5k a few months back for my 182 cup inferno, 24k, from a trader (churches) which i was pretty pleased with.
Knew i could get around 8k for it at the time, but wanted a quick sale.
I would of thought u will get 7.5k for it easy.
I look forward to needing a track toy or runabout...
isnt it a case of they put that price up, but thats actually a deposit price or something, then you have to pay the rest of finance?
Or something along those lines?
Where am i slagging any tuner off?
The point of my post was that Ja.Jack thinks everything is crap unless its made by AWT.
Just a bit of fun. lighten up eh?!?!?!?
depends what situation were talking to...
stock suspension will probably out perform coilovers on the open road 95% of the time.
But on a silky smooth race track a well setup set of coilovers will be far superior. Reduced body roll, lower centre of gravity etc etc etc.
Clio owners have...
Renault do a sleeve kit for the 182 exhaust system.
As they had so many warrenty claims on the back boxes etc.
I think its about 20 quid from Renault. Fits perfectly.
just stating fact my friend.
I am not overly bothered if people buy BTB, orbisound etc, just as long as people are educated enough to know what they are getting if they pay 300 or 500 quid for an exhaust.
I will say no more!!!
in a n ideal world we could get one car, test it as standard, then in turn test it with each system.
but unfortuantly its unlikely to happen.
We have posted graphs before, which show a clear increase in power and torque across the rev range, but no one else seems to be able to provide...
Why havent you bought a BTB yet then?
I know BenR is meant to be producing a system, but surely you dont think he knows more about exhaust manufacture than experts like BTB?
(please note this is not a dig or salgging benr off! just a question)
Thats not the case at all.
These threads get started, and they usually end up coming down to the above systems as people ask for whats the 'best'.
As for being not worthy, again not the case. Those that want a system that looks and sound better than the standard system buy a miltek, magnex...
dont they do 2 systems?
one which is right on borderline of 96odd db, and one that is over?
Which is not ideal on all UK circuit's, as some have very strict sound ruling (IE Castle Coombe, Goodwood)
So rather than have to be cautious on the throttle or let off at the sound testers, with...
