I'm not sure the group_n remap is capable of running cams properly. Also the rev limiter will probably be 7800rpm. Best not to take it that high too often though as its not good for it!
Why the stock exhuast is upto running an engine with cams. I would be more supprissed if it has only had an aftermarket backbox and not a full cat back system as the stock one would have fallen off long ago.
It depends how good the ecu remap is really.
Is it an open air induction kit or is it an enclosed one? Is it definately only the backbox that been replaced as most people would have a stainless system from the cat back?
As said a decat would probably be the next step along with matched...
I always used try to get away with buying things as cheaply as possible and I always ended up buying the more expensive version a few days later!
You can buy things cheaply but theres cheap and then theres so cheap it will definately break i.e. £40 for some HID's that come all the way from...
When I went to get my cable I wrote the VIN and the part number down for when I went in there and the guy still went out to the car to check. That was the dealer in Cirencester and they went bankrupt!
The dealer in Southampton was even funnier. I took the part number in to get some new PH1...
Saying that I saw a guy at halfords the other day getting them to change his bulbs for the £2.48 that they charge. I was there just as the guy opened the owners bonnet to reveal the Audi V8 sitting there. The air intake was covering the headlights on one side and the aircon on the other. The...
About £25 I think. If you go on K-Tec's website its the one that they sell. I'm sure its a U480 OBDII reader but its worth checking. They used to charge quite allot for it but they price match now so find it as cheap as you can and give them a call.
Failing that find someone in your area...
Leads can be dodgy sometimes if they have got damp so I would change them as well as the sparks. Have you tried a search as I hate recomending to people that they change bits without being 100% sure that it will solve the problem!
May need reseting but ive never had the problem so i'm not sure. When my SERV light came on because of a spark plug problem I had to buy a OBDII reader to reset the fault code and clear the display so it may be the same for an airbag fault.
It'll be the cable. If its not a new one then replace it. If it is a new one give it a good grease and reroute it so it follows the largest arcs possible.
Also make sure the TB return spring is well greased and the TB itself is clean as they can get quite gunked up because of the oil breather.
Remove indicator bulb so theres a breathing hole and turn the the lights on and they should dry out after a while. Or what I did was remove the indicator bulb and the dipped beam bulb so there were two holes and then I stuck a hairdryer over one of the holes and it dried out really quick.
Yeah your supossed to put a bolt in here to stop the hanger falling out of the mount. The stock exhaust should already have the bolts on it as you will have to remove them for the exhaust to come out of the mount. Thats where I got mine from anyway.
