I did it for two years and i thought it was worth doing. Do check they dont sting you though as some companies charge more per month for the privilage.
Ive always thought mine feels reasonably planted at thoose speeds. But stuff 160+ for a game of cricket I thought I was going to die when I did 170 in an M6 on the autobahn.
To the thread starter - you must have balls the size of an elephants but treat yourself to some locking bonnet catches...
70mm iirc. Performance gains are arguble as all it will do it smooth up the airflow through the elbow but the elbow itself is one of the majour restrictors in the airtake system anyway! Just looks better than stock. If you get just the elbow you will need to get an oil breather.
Ive always favoured the PE2's on my PH1. It had T1-R's on when I got it and I couldn't get on with them so I swapped them as soon as I had worn the T1-R's down. PE2's can be expensive though.
Mine has them if your talking about the ones that come out from under the front seats. Ive read somewhere on here that no-ones ever seen a car with them?
Well is came off and went back on again. Was a b*****d to get off as the end of the union nust had flared out larger than the hole on the rubber line....
Total nightmare. Just need to bleed them now so ive come in for some lunch!! Thanks again for the help guys.
Well luckily there is a join on the passenger side that I can use so I dont need to replace the whole lot.
However I have come to do the drivers side and some fucker has already had a go at that as well so the whole union nut is already rounded off.......... My partner has seen a grown man...
I had something similar last year on my placement when I brought the clio. Hardly anyone knew what it was and I got mick taken as the exhaust was loud for a small car with a small engine (i didn't tell them it had a 2 litre).
To make it worse thoose taking the biscuit owned a bmw 325i...
Me too mate thanks for the advice :)
From memory does anybody know for sure if the N/S brake pipe is one long piece or if it has a joint somewhere. Just really want to know as its bugging me and it'll save me time looking for one tomorrow!
Yeah ive got abs. I'll have a good look in the morning because as you said it would be a long piece of pip to run all that way without a join. If it does have a join all ive got to do then is find a good scrap place in berkshire!!!
Luckily I dont need the car till monday so fingers crossed I...
No I havn't traced it back as I just assumed it went straight to the master cylinder but i'll go have a quick look now before it gets dark. Not entirely sure where the nearst scrap place is to me as I moved a few months ago and havn't needed one!
Well it was a nice day outside and my braided lines turned up so I thought I would get them on. Did the backs first which was easy peasy. Then moved onto the fronts. Tried the passenger side first and the union nut which goes from the metal brake line onto the rubber one was really stiff to get...
Mines at 86k and doesn't use a drop. The only thing it leaks a little of is gearbox oil but I think they all do that and its only about 100ml every 6k anyway
