Only one in a black 182 round our way from here is Chris (Recaro) but his car stands out quite a bit as its low, has Recaro's in and is missing his centre caps!
Yeah! I actually work in Ripley in their PDI/Prep Department but i was recently based up at the showroom doing some work for Lotus for a week and remember seeing a Blue 182 every morning....nice to meet you mate!
Cheers for the feedback people.
Im not totally convinced by the benefits but its good to hear what everyone thinks.
I agree with NeilG....turrets so close to the main bulkhead that im sure any movement is minimal
Well its always nice when you come to the end of a full tank of V-Power thats for sure.
Nice and light....but knowing that you will shortly have to shell out ANOTHER £40 to Mr Shell.
I had 4 others in my Cup last weekend....slightly naughty as it can't accomodate 3 in the back but it was a wedding runner so needs must, but god the thing felt like i was towing another car.....still i did chuck it round a 180 degree slip road much faster than i should have done and the thing...
Has anyone changed tyre profile sizes and noticed any significant changes in their car's handling?
I only ask because im putting on some Toyo Proxes T1-S tomorrow, not out of preference but because i gained a little worn pair from an S1 Exige but they are 50 instead of 45 profile.

A very good mate of mine is a salesman at my local Renault dealer so i know most of the guys there and they all seem to know their stuff so i don't have any foolish conversations to put here but here is a recent convo with the Senior Salesman who i know who has the 197 as his demo.

Ouch.
Now i suppose it comes down to whether or not the insurance company give my mum the choice to have it repaired.
The guy who did the estimate said its forecourt book price is about £2200 so if they...

Luckily its not done any mechanicals or suspension damage so that may count in its favour.
Well its happened sooner than i expected. My brother has rear ended a Civic in my mums Clio Mk 2 Phase 1 1.2, mere weeks after passing his test.
Damage is moderate and it looks to need the following:
O/s front wing
Bonnet
2 Headlights
Bumper
Front grille/trim
Front cross panel inc...
Same old argument as always on this thread then!
How many of these threads do we have per week? Must be at least half a dozen!
I'll put my pennys worth in...if you want the toys and a heavier car buy a FF 172...if you want something that is as close to the Clio Cup RACE CAR as possible then...
Nice one!
I saw you coming round the roundabout and thought i'd nick in behind you....but then with you braking for those two cyclists who were taking up all the sodding road, i had to bang the anchors on myself!:S
I've followed you from there before but always been a few cars behind....10...
