    more easy to cut it though surely.you can buy sleeves from renault to rejoin it if you ever want to refit it.

    you cut the exhaust to get it past the axle beam.you really need to jack it up if your going to fit it yourself.easy enough job to do though.

    cat back exhaust system.i think ryhs said his decat didnt really gain him much on his 172.but saying that other people said they did get gains so a mixed set of opinions there.

    thats what my mate complained about the exhaust going rusty.my ascar one looks the same now as the day it was built so i would recommend them.

    oil consuption should get less as the engine ages.official max consumption figures are- anything under 1 litre per approx 700 miles is ok as far as renault is concerned

    all depends on who does it and how good a job you want.eg-large company like adr would charge about £1500>£2000 where a backstreet little place might charge £500 but the job might not be as good.do a post for good well known bodyshops in your area and see if anybody has any suggestions.

    get the engine from a large breakers company so you get a few days warranty.gives you time to fit it and make sure its ok.a complete running engine should cost a couple of hundred quid at the most.

    oil every 6000miles(god i hate them oil filters especially when there tight as f**k) cambelt 70000miles or 5 years.change it at a earlier mileage if it worries you. spark plugs and air filter every 12000 miles fuel filter every 36000 miles

    Super 1600 Clio....

    the new v6 is better because they have smoothed the kit in with the bodywork now so you cant see any joins.the old v6 used to make me laugh where you could see the white smear of sealer in the join where they sealed the kit to the rear wing.
