Probably, but 'Frauds didn't have Flame Red and this is kinda an impulse thing, so Capsicum will do!
Haven't decided on the masked bit yet, I may just keep grey, or maybe anthracite...
Ay, it's a little bit 'brighter' than I thought but should look good mixed in with the intakes in the fogs and bit of red on the I/K...
I've had to cheer myself up after getting quotes to fix a b@stard dent :(
;)
Have just peeled back the masking on the lettering and there's a little bit of red transfer onto the yellow, but nothing a fine paintbrush and a steady hand won't fix!
To be honest I think you're looking at anything between 6 and 8 seconds depending on conditions, your particular car, driver ability, etc, etc. Anything in 7's is about right.
Probably due to the amount of claims they've had on each model, as the 1*2's are cheaper and more prone to being driven by young / inexperienced drivers. Even old Evo's are still a fair bit of money and so tend to be driven by older drivers who are les likely to wrap them around the local Maccy...
Need to be a member to do that.
I'd turn the guy down and just see how the auction goes, unless he does a straight swap, as that'll be a more realistic deal.
Can't see how the math works to be honest mate.
If he's wanting the Clio + £3000 for his Celica, which he paid £7k for last year, then his car is probably worth about £6.5k now, which values your Mk2 172 at about £3.5k.... which I would certainly not sell it for if I was you.
Pretty good price, most modified cars sell for less than the standard equivalent, but obviously this car has a lot of history and is really well cared for, so standard spec price is about right.
I may be forced to sell mine over the new couple of months, but depends how finances are after my mortgage is sorted.
As for the steering wheels and silver door pockets: get used to seeing a lot of wrecked ones because they're almost all like that!
Nice one for the quick sale though. :)
Indeed, the lettering's all taped up... and then I realised that I've left the paint in the car with me mrs, who's taken it for the night! Will do it on Friday...
Cheers people, the irony is that I had a little argument upon entering Tesco's car park only last week because I always park away from everyone else if I can and she was saying it was pointless. Probbaly when this happened...
Strange about MSN Neil, if you want PM me your addy and I'll see if...
Yeah I'll have his details if that's okay Neil, I've got a few other small dings that need looking at and I'm hoping this will pop out as it's not so much a crease as a smooth circular mark. Send it to me via msn messenger if it's easier: acrebo@yahoo.co.uk
The photo's don't actually make it...
I'm usually quite philosophical about car park 'dings' and scrapes, it's a car and they happen.
But I noticed this whilst cleaning the car yesterday and it's more than just a brush, it's a bloody great dent in the panel where some knobber has just driving into the side of me, no doubt whilst...
FAO anyone who's sprayed their engine cover...
How did you go about covering up the 2.0L 16V lettering? I'm thinking tracing paper onto masking tape, and then cut out and stick on...
Colour code the bumpstrips and handles the same orange as the wheels mate, will look psychadelically cool!
Likin the stripped out look, not sure about the greent 'RenaultSport' though!
