I've sprayed several bits and pieces over the years and have always been generally happy with how they turn out. But I'm now spraying larger more obvious parts and having trouble getting that perfect finish.
Primering and base coats is fine. Can get the coloue looking great even with a little...
C2 has no fillers and is super clear, really shows the paint well. best not to use anything under or over it as it will affect its dur\ability and its self cleaning. both a friend with a subaru and my GF's golf had it applied neat to glass and plastics, every part apart from wheels
AG tar remover is not that bad, just quite pricey compared to ordering Tardis online. If you can find a spray head or bottle it's much easier to use.
Stick to what addicted recommended and you won't go far wrong. SRP and HD wax gives a lovely finish, just don't use too much SRP, approx 50p size...
don't need to take the guard off, although it does make it easier, use a mirror and torch and you'll soon see if you have, the two middle inlet tracks are stamped with a 2" 'R' and 'S'.
They were generally on all 182's, and quite a few of the later 172's. They flow much better than the standard...
I used the lacquer over some modelling paint and it looked like it tried to react but only used light coats at a time. How heavy / thick was the lacquer applied?
Not bullets, but I've recently painted a few badges and exhaust trims with halfords plastic primer, paint and lacquer and had no issues with it reacting
I ALWAYS allow 24hours for primer / paint / lacquer to dry before either sanding back or applying the next stage of coats.
Maybe I like things done properly but it was a week before I was happy to put my clio badge and exhaust surrounds back on the car. There's no point in rushing as you'll...
The diamond itself has little slots that locate into the boot surround, it isn't clipped together but is bonded and has some pretty good double sided tape on the back of the diamond holding it to the surround. I very much doubt you'll be able to prise it off without causing damage to one or both...
a friend took out the autoglym lifeshine for 299 on his leon.

They do inside and out and guarantee against any stains / marks ( 1001 terms and conditions apply) tried to talk him out of it and just do it himself but wouldn't listen. Doesn't seem to...
Vesta, the £70 one you posted a link to, the bottle adaptor is only really for spraying shampoo, I very much doubt it'll resemble a snow foam hence why I ordered the proper thing.
Got it from Argos as a couple of my local stores had them in stock for collection, and the price was reduced in...
I'd have a look at Argos if you want Nilfisk, seems cheaper than amazon and no waiting or paying delivery.

depends how much correction or cut you want to acheive, yellow being the most aggressive (heavy cut), orange a little less (light cut) green is heavy polish, white is light polish etc etc. others are for finishing and glazing, says it all in the CYC descriptions, dare say it also says it on CG...

I've got alot of them recently and am quite happy with them, also using a DAS and the menzerna / lime prime
the V6 airbox some use (including myself) on their 1*2's is NOT the same as a Clio V6 airbox.
It comes from the Espace V6 and is almost identical to the airbox used on Ph1 172's. the difference being the V6 has one large air feed, the Ph1 has 2 small air feeds.
halfords paints / primers / lacquers are ok if doing minor / small parts like badges etc, I used them in the wheel I did and came out fine. I wouldn't use them on a full panel or something I wanted to colour match though.
C2 will supposedly provide good durability long after the beading drops off, probably 3x longer than vics from basic research. And as Gally said, HD wax will be a good one for other cars, 2 coats and mine lasts for ages with great beading.
rimwax is rubbish, wish I never bought it, will be...
if you can stretch your budget slightly, dodo juice supernatural hybrid, 100ml £30

have just bought it and used on a couple of panels and initial impression is very good. SOOO easy to use.

my top mounts would creak at low speed cornering, more so when on full lock, might have done it at higher speeds but could never hear it.
if it's pulling to one side and the tracking is OK, then maybe something more important is out of alignment.
not at all, start off with a half aggressive paper to take the dimpled effect off, then step down the paper to something smoother to create the finish. Not aiming to take it back past the outer finish. the finish is just a reflection of the initial product.
I did this to my exhaust trims and in...
Ghetto hey, thanks for the constructive comment. I think you'll find it'll last just as long
yes seriously, not exactly rocket science is it. No harm in trying to do it yourself.
The hole has as much chance of splitting as those in the Prima mount.
as said in the original thread, the cable...
I wouldn't agree with applying a final thick coat of lacquer, how do you measure the difference between applying a thick coat, before it starts to spit or run on the paintwork requiring it all to be flat sanded back again. Don't think it can be truly done without a proper spray gun.
Multiple...
