RE exhaust issue - My local dealer just replaced my centre section on my exhaust. They most certainly wouldn't have done this if it wasn't covered by warranty. RE windo creaking - mine does this - it's been in twice and all they say is "No problem found, window mech lubricated" and it's back...

There's really not a great deal in it. The TypeR in my experience at least, is quicker above 100, but below that it's pretty close. LOL @ that video.... Can you get away with driving like at track days in this country??!!

The paint code on my Iceburg mk2 172 is MV640. Be warned however that Iceburg Silver has 5 different variants or revisions. I had to match mine by eye ( with the help of my mate who did the spraying) as I could see no indication of a revision number. He had colour swatches of the five...

Side track I know, but what would be the advantage of supercharging over using a turbo??. I know lag etc are and issue with turbos, but surely a turbo conversion would be cheaper and yield more power??

182 and 172 both produce 200 nm, but the 182 produces poeak torque 250 odd rpm earlier.

Yeah only Williams 1 were numbered - I think there were 500 odd RHD examples made ands sold here. LOADS more in Europe though.

The suspension is different. It's set up for 16" wheels for a start and has different spring and damping rates. I've never heard of a fault with the fbw throttle. More sensitive than a cable jobbie, and has fewer moving parts thus requires less maintenace. Gear box is essentially the same...
