    Induction kit

Do a search under "16v" and "induction kits". You may be surprised by what you find, as youll be expecting to make mega power from one. Basically, youre better off with an aftermarket element in a standard air box with a 16v/Willy - its what race-spec cars use. Speaking from experience...

Yeah, magazine reviews over here have not been full of praise.

    Your cars history.......

The service book had been lost for my car, but all the receipts since new were in a big folder. All the panels were original and in original paint, though I did have some re-sprayed to get rid of the stone chips. What interested me at the time was that the car had just had an full engine...

    Just had the 12000 service - £185

Im not sure, but I think youd have to prove that the car had been maintained according to Renaults stiplations and criteria - which, if you were doing it yourself, would be difficult. I guess that £185 is a fair old bit for what you describe, but since Im used to regular bills of £300 plus, it...

Ben mate - youre invited too! I dont think you need to get to that speed to have fun in Wales!

Id have said that its probably about 10% - maybe a bit less. Ive only ever seen two other 16vs with leather.

    Williams engine fitted!

Well Lofty, it seems as if the gaundlet has been laid down...and Id be happy to "compare notes"! Im not sure if youve ever met a guy called Si with a Willy 3 on 100bhp nitrous jets in Bristol? Anyway, off nitrous and in a straight line I was leaving him every time - naturally, an outcome...

Buying a Williams 3 - what to look for

Theyre not particularly unreliable, but youve got to consider the demographic of the Williams as a car range. Most Willys will be 6-9 years old and in the 50-100k miles range. Bear that in mind, and you can see how all the problems have been encountered by now with 16v/Williams Clios -...

I like it - and really like the Focus RS. But Id prefer a Clio V6 Mk2...or...um...come to think of it, a Clio V6 Mk1.

The possible demise of the site

The thing I liked about Cliosport when I had my 1.2 was that everyone was friendly and didnt look down on me.

    Leaking Sunroof

I siliconed-up the nut which fastens the radio ariel, directly above said tray that holds the lights. I also cover my car in a garage - so that helps! But since I did the ariel, I havent had any leaks on the occasions that my car sees rain.

    opinions on 1.6 16v clio

Williams Clios were strictly limited in production. They were special editions of the 16v. Willy 1 was an edition of 400 UK cars. Willy 2 was about 400ish and Willy 3 was about 390ish. Only 1200ish UK 1, 2 & 3 cars in total. The Clio Williams was not actually developed by, nor in...

Buying a Williams 3 - what to look for

Its pretty much the same sort of things that you should be looking for on the Clio 16v, as the Williams is closely based on that car. The main differences between the cars are cloth trim, wheels, front suspension, gbox and engine bottom end (though they share heads I think). So there isnt...

Ive been away from the forums for the weekend. Its a bit dis-heatening to come back to this. But, on the other hand, Cliosport allowed a group of us to make contact and meet this weekend in Cardiff. Thats just one of the many positive things that Cliosport enables. People come and go...
