    Replacing front shocks and springs

You don't need spring compressors for any 1*2 springs. Trust me

    Replacing front shocks and springs

Gaitor seal bolts are 13mm's. ;)

    Clutch kit change at home

You can undo just the top nut. Get an impact gun on it. Or spanner from underneath.

    Replacing front shocks and springs

Don't panic too much. You just need to turn the shaft and push it back into the box if you've still got the gaitor on it.

    Replacing front shocks and springs

Yep, you need to remove that bar. Won't jump up harshly, no. No need for spring compressors, so can save yourself a few quid there. Basically, once the shock and spring assy is off the car, undo the thin 17mm nut on top of the old shock, lift everything from the upper spring cap off the old...

    Clutch kit change at home

Yeah, the studs make it easier , but getting the back one on can sometimes be a pig. Once it's on both studs, simple. Just slide it up (as long as the clutch is aligned properly), If you get stuck with any bolts, post up a pic of them. One of us losers will recognise them I'm sure.

    Clutch kit change at home

Getting the box off is easy compared to getting it back on and lined up. Other than that, it's just reverse procedure to re-fit.

    New H&R Product Development

I'd also be keen on testing something. I've had more RS' than I can remember with just about every kind of handling mod, so would be interested to see the differences. Also, Nick172Cup I'm sure we could help with a back to back comparison of two cars that have the new parts and don't.

All exist already by other manufacturers, but no reason these shouldn't do well. Look at Eibach Sportlines as the staple Clio 1*2 spring and the Whiteline adjustable Rear ARB...

Lovely. Cheers chaps. Scrooge You done a rear bearing on a DCi before? Front, nice and simple, but I've never had the rear apart on a Non-sport.....

    Wheel bearing whine. Which side?

Just a quick one chaos Got a wheel bearing whine on my DCi, goes away when I turn left. Any idea which side that'll be?
