As for tuning things are starting to take off now.
Throttle bodies, K Tec and BB Tuning both have turbo conversions almost here, and then theres the usual, chip, decat, induction, and strip it of all comforts.
Ive just done a used car search on renault.co.uk and they are showing loads of...
The one I had on mine has now been with 4 members. I picked it up off Paul172. he sold it to me, then I sold it to Big Iain, then he sold it on again. LOL Very sought after bits of plastic.
I traded in my 03 Import 172 and got roughly a grand less than the if it had been a UK car. I had however saved a lot more than that buying it.
http://www.motorpoint.co.ukMotorpoint have plenty in stock in Titanium and Black Gold. Starting around £11.6k Obviously you cant add the cup...
The 182 has: 4x40W Cabasse RDS radio single CD
with 6 speakers and remote control
The 172 was pretty much the same only not badged Cabasse, and cars before mid 03 had an autochanger as standard. The Cup I believe was the same as the 172 only with 4 speakers and no autochanger.
Hi, welcome to Cliosport.
You can pick up delivery mileage, pre registered cars at Renault main dealers for around £10k, sometimes cheaper. A real bargain.
I had a few rattles in the 172 and have pretty much the same ones on the 182, other than that Ive had no issues with either.
You wont find a car which offers the same level of performance or specification for the price.
As everyone has already said, you really cant go on the pictures being posted. Id seen both colours in the flesh before I ordered mine, and I actually turned up at the dealership ready to order Racing Blue. But as I pulled onto the car park there was one awaiting collection, sat in the...
If youve only covered 900 miles in the 172 you wont have had chance to get to grips with that properly yet. Id covered 22500 miles in just over 12 months in mine, then I drove TomClio182s 182 and couldnt really notice any difference. But since swapping to the 182 Ive had the chance to drive...
From that comment I know you havent driven either cars hard or at all! The difference in very noticable. But that was just one reason I upgraded from an 03 172 to a new 182. Oh, and I got a brand new 182 for £10.800 with metallic paint, and both Cup packs from Renault Birmingham. :D
As for...
They did, but for some reason they stopped covering those sort of things a little while ago. I dont know if they changed peoples existing cover or whether its just when you purchase a new car.
All new Renaults have 3 years AA cover but dont cover Self Induced Faults or driving on the...
I hope you added SIF to your AA cover that you get with the car as it doesnt cover punctures.
Ive just paid £50 extra to cover me for the duration of the free cover. This covers me for any Self Induced Faults, such as locking the keys in the car, an accident or punctures, should I not want to...
I took it easy for a couple of hundred miles then built up so by just over 600 miles I was driving it normally.
When I ran the 172 in I think I took it too easy and it never went as well as it should have done IMO. The 182 on the other hand is flying and its still not got many miles on the...
Dont you mean off mate? Its on all the time unless you chose to turn it off.
With it on you cant launch the car properly as it bogs it down, it also upsets the balance if you go into a corner and intend to get a bit of lift off action, the car kerbs that and pulls it back inline, not good if...
I have a mix, in general I just leave it on, but if there is any chance I needto pull out across heavy traffic or know Im going to need to get my foot down then its off.
It does always reset to on when starting the engine.
Some people have been lucky and found it works if you dont mind it being placed by the small square gap at the base of the screen, others have had to buy the additional antena.
