lol thats such a piss take. How are they justifying that price? If the calipers are just siezed they might need a new seal kit and a clean. As said, disc/pads easy to fit. Lots of guides in the guide section. Think they have seen a girl (no offence :)) and thought "kerching"!!
they are cheap to replace and easy to change really. Saying that, i remember seeing something on her (might be in the project threads) where someone did a fix job on theirs with some sockets.
sounds a bit dodg to me. Discs used after 1000miles and brake dust that sticks everywhere. FYI, clay bar would have removed it all from the side (unless you tried that?). This is what i had to do to mine when my pads ran down. The metal fillings from the front disc were right down the side of...

the usual ds2500. No complaints with mine. If funds allow, pagids blues. Think discs are much of a muchness really. Not going to make much difference. HC over max I gather.
mine used to leak until i took it into renault. was a seal issue apparently. don't think it will be anything serious. If you become a member there is a guide about how to remove the front bumper so you can have a look yourself.
