mine hasn't melted, but the rubber thoumb grip split :( i now have insulation tape around it lol!!!)
waiting for a momo boss as i already have the wheel
it'll be fine!!! mine is lowered on h&r's pretty low!, only problems you may have is if you have an aftermarket exhaust, as this may knock on the rear beam...
bit like me this.... i would like a black gold 182 (cup packed) on H&R's... BUT, every stock 172/ 182 i have come across i have the legs on (overtaken both and yes they were trying as the 182 owner flagged me down asking what i'd done lol)!
so i'm gonna probably keep mine for now, but will...
are the rear wings (quarter panels) bigger like the old valvers and williams? or are the thet same as the 1.2s like the 172/182's?
if that makes sence lol
ok! it 'feels' like it handles better , very chuckable etc, i'm running 195/50/15..... and even with this tyre size there is a noticable size difference against the turinis
and cheap rubber eaglef1's are around 35 quid each!!!
i have a momo race thats been sat in my room for two months, nobody can seem to lay there hands on a boss for a clio (been waiting since may 20th) :(
and only one bucket seat?
i have two of them ;)
dont think its too bad, i have one to go on mine, think its just dissconnect the battery for half an hour, then remove airbag/steering wheel, replace with a boss that has the resistor for the airbag (stops the light comming on), fix wheel, job done.
one warning though, i've been waiting since...

my mate works there, he looks after mine (steve) and one of the other mechanics has a 172 exclusive, so you'd be in good hands. Just down the a49 for you :)
