Too slow IMO, unless your struggling to brake for Mcintyres you haven't got it right is what the racers say.
You'll be fine, its best corner on the track with the chicane in 2nd.
Turned on the cone and that's early for some. The problem was far too high up the revs on the downshift for the...
Video of Duffis slide.

30 second video took an hour to upload to youtube, is that normal, new to this shiz.
Quick video of one of my slides into first corner (Duffis)
Need to learn how to imbed videos?

The braking was perfect all day balance wise, just a little extra bite would be nice. I don't have a bias valve fitted Fred, not even an oem one, my other cup has one but not this. I came to the assumption that early Cup's never had one? It still has the green oem pipes leading to and from...
Had a track day booked for yesterday so set about the remaining things that I wanted done.
I fitted the exhaust and modified hanger, fitted xenons, removed fog lights and secured front bumper properly with new riv nuts to the subframe. Fitted new tie rod and had geo setup up again. Had a...
4 pots have oem pads in iirc :rasp:
Can see myself throwing standard callipers on this week with 15" ao48rs and coming to show you how to drive on thurs ;) got the bug now. Jokes btw.
lol try having a road tyres, brakes, full interior and a set of springs.
ps found that video, doesn't do it justice. Never got my detour on film either but did catch one if my big slides, videos to follow.
Aye you was getting beaten by a novice in the morning until it dried and my tyres went ;)
Looking for that video you wanted just now, you remember what session it was?
Cheers, was a decent day with rain in the morning and dry in the afternoon. Few dramas getting there but the car ran almost faultlessly until the last session where it chucked a rear pad going down duffis, nothing damaged, just new pads and boxer shirts required. Shattered now so I will update...
Quality day for my first trackday, I was struggling in the afternoon with tyres but it was to be expected. Good to put some faces to names and thanks to the DJW boys and GAZ for the grille :)
I didn't get one pic, few videos to upload when I work it out.
Hard one really, between Brembos, Whiteline RARB and steering wheel for the feeling and smaller front plate, buckets, xenons, FF interior looks wise.
That's me not long home from playing with the car all day, left at 6. Trailer loaded, van packed and ready to go for tomorrow. I will upload videos and update on the work carried out today.
Re: Road/Track 172
Colour change or just the FG? My votes for graphite grey or white if you are. I thought about doing them a totally different colour from the standard blue, I think it would look stupid though.
Neither did/do I styling wise. Having driven a guys one I know a short distance the other week around a car park I totally get them. They are plastered in ford Motorsport parts. Alcon callipers etc.
Didn't realise they done flat and thermoformed, I thought they was all the same but the type, shape and position of the sliders made them clubsport or pro etc. Why did you decide against ACW if you were just wanting flat out if interest?
Stupid design eh, if it wasn't for this you could easily re-seal the rocker cover without touching the timing.
iirc it's 16 or 18mm Kelv, do you not have a sump plug set?
Camshaft bolt and nut are 16mm or 18mm, Renaults favourite sizes although they use 8,10,11,12,13,16,18mm that I have came...
I have got a trackday on Sunday which leaves me 1 day to fiddle with bits, my list is far too long.
Got a few bits done tonight, I fitted the boot mat, wind deflectors, steering boss and extension (lifeline snap off to come from Iceman before Sunday hopefully)
Steering wheel is almost...
Arrived home to a few parts for the completion of the car, I can't think of anything else to buy bar little odds and ends, poly windows, windscreen and get all the FG parts painted.
Carbon floors are on there way now.
Epas column and box of tricks on its way.
Most of the brake line fittings...
Yeah Honda's especially are the cars I have run that you notice a real difference, I guess its because there mapped for the fuel in the JDM.
I just filled up the Clio for the first time with this stuff, £54 went in @ £1.49 and it was pretty empty too, does a trophy have a bigger tank or something?
Them glasses were an old run but were dated for most years of Ferrari's competing in F1 so they have probably added 2012 & 2013 and started punting them again. My dads a taxi so I will have the full set soon most likely.
Chip, some cars definately need higher octane fuel though right? Mine, my...
Yeah iirc it was P@blo on here that got a set and had all the part numbers, wether it was cup racer, s1600, group n etc I'm not sure. I 2nd the r-sport service, I have waited weeks for them to come back with prices, all the guys sound old and complacent in their jobs tbh.
As you say Kenny if...
I can't see a saving tbh Phil, the pipes weigh nothing, pump weighs near nothing and the rack isn't that heavy. I will keep my rack anyway as its sturdier IMO.
That epas column is easily 12-15kg by itself with the ECU and I don't have the lower part yet. Simplicity was my reason for fitting and...
Fair enough but the reason people are asking is because half of CS can't read and post new threads for things that are two threads down, does my nut in. Half the time this section gets full of useless threads that always lead to nowhere.
Not your fault, rant over.
