The op pointed this out originally and I figured out another option weeks ago mate it has been pretty well documented on here. You pretty much just ask for Kangoo van tie rods when you go into most motor factors.
Another option is Firstline from micksgarage.com £12 each iirc
If any corner fails then you will have to replace the shock absorber wether its standard or a coilover.
Everything else has been covered a 1000000 times, scroll down the page and then go to page 2 and so on until you find your answer.
Cheers, im fairly handy at detailing but don't know all the accronyms.
Sorry to jump on your thread op. What would you suggest to keep on top of it after a full correction detail, I just carried one out with wolfs body wrap as the final layer, dont want to loose my hard work.
Its not really worth the journey down and van rental for two hours just now, If I get my own tow car by then I might book up closer to the time, spaces usually become available anyway.
I hope so
Pending sale of Saxo electric pas pump with one off billet CNC'd bracket with all pipework coming up for sale soon if this setup is to my liking, let me if anyone's interested.
Will get a look when on wifi.
Its got turn in sorted anyway, aero is ammence for a saloon car too.
It's a h pattern gearbox, probably a dog leg dog engagement box knowing BMW. A sequential would slow this man down lol.
Re: How to remove wings, do headlights have to come completely out or just pulled for
Was thinking he had a 1*2.
Anyway for a 1-*2 there's a bolt or a nut behind the skirt for the wing hence why I'm saying they need removed, right...? and the front rivets on the skirts will need drilled out to...
I think Jon g on here done it that way with OMP side mounts bolted directly to the floor, some pics in his project thread. I have the same seat rails as kelv with OMP side mounts directly mounted to them without any runners. If I had it any lower I would be struggling to see over the dash and...
Re: How to remove wings, do headlights have to come completely out or just pulled for
Skirts need to come off for wings to be removed properly and headlight out.
Google is a wonderful thing, 2 minutes that took.

I know I know, sadly my money can't be spent on entry fee's yet as the car isn't ready, come finishing time then all this spending will stop and be used for fuel, instruction and entry fee's.
Pedal box is a no go for me due to how far it would bring them back, cage would need to move back in...
Yeah it's just for neater install instead of running everything down the sides of the passenger seat, I have battery cables, brake pipes, fuel lines, extinguisher pipes and wiring, interior loom all to run so could get busy.
Do you not find the pedals a stretch from the floor? I do with size 11...
I'll let you know when I'm certain they work ;)
Yeah I have found a few now, more like the s1600 cars though which are like a copy of the floor but in carbon, I actually saw one with an indent for a makita impact gun that I thought was cool but £450 a side is pricey. I just need something to...
Not telling :rasp:
They should be about £250 but I'm trying to get them re-made so the passengers slopes towards the tunnel. They are made for a LHD car. Nice bits though and I think I can get this guy to do anything carbon for good money.
Standard m8 bolt is 1.5 thread pitch.
These are a good looking coated bolt with flange (lol) so no washers required.

I have just fitted brand new cup shocks to my 172 cup with Eibach sportlines (lower than pro lines, Cooksports are lower again) everything will transfer over fine although some say the rear shocks are all the same.
I am well impressed with the setup combined with Whitelibe ARB, I have a track...
Just finalising the deal on these nice bits of kit
Doing a shopping list for brake lines, can't decide between keeping cup valve or going for a proportioning valve, any other people other than those I have spoke to with previous experience of fitting bias valves to a Clio, let me know your...
Almost certain, have a look at your DCI column they have a bolt to remove from the upper part just like they do for the connection to the rack. I'm pretty sure this setup can be fitted to mk1's right through to the 182 as the pick ups and positions appear to all be the same. Mk2 shell never...
