Indigo - good god your car goes well for a 106. You got a build thread for it anywhere? or any more details?

If KW actually try to give you the "not for track use" line after they were built to a custom track spec - they need a slap lol

It's a bit weird as the bearings are shot on mine after only half a dozen days on track and virtually no road use - maybe a weak point in the coilovers
If you make it to mallory I'll definitely pop down

Awwww man. Not another one :(
Gutted for you mate. If it makes you feel any better it looks like Anglesey killed a bearing in my bilsteins too. The track must hate Clio owners lol
When's your next one? I...
I get the feeling they've announced this because they have no plans to make a 7D MKII
With the 5D MKIII getting the AF system from the 7D, it's pretty difficult for them to make a 7D MKII without treading on the 5D's toes
Yeah I know the 5D is full frame - but feature wise...
I reckon...
LOL I wouldn't say money isn't an issue mate - I'm just at a point in life where I'm fairly well off
Don't have wife, kids etc...
Won't be going boosted - the ITB's offer more power than I can use at the moment anyway
Winter this year will probably see cams (as it needs a cambelt +...
My last Windows PC cost about £800 to build, Windows was £259 - so £1059
I had to re-install it 6 times in the first year due to crashes, driver errors, corrupt files, general windows nonsense
It used to crash approximately once every 2 days
I am a web developer - I use my 'PC' to make money -...
Windows is an utter bag of toss
Installing new version of windows usually takes about 2hours and involved rebooting at least 4 times, then leaves you with a load of missing drivers. AND it costs you £200+
New version of OSX? Click it in the app-store, pay £20, let it download, watch it...
I keep fancying a play in one because they look very balanced and extremely capable if you've got the talent
I also really fancy building one - I'm a bit bored now there's nothing left to do on the clio lol
Yeah I see a fair few of them out on track not going very quickly - the ones that are definitely had their brave flakes for breakfast lol - twitch little things!
Talk to me
Can you get them from ANYWHERE at all anymore?
Does anyone have a set that I could use to go and get more made?
Etc...
I think there's quite a market for them still and I want a set for my track car :D
No-one in the world views transport as the vehicle itself moving from A -> B lol
Transport is a vehicle that Transports something
It's pushing it a bit to say a motorsport car transports a driver...
Hey matt - not bad mate - how's you?
I have no idea how much it weighs actually - I could do with taking it to a weighbridge and find out
I know I took about 150kgs out as I weighed most things removed/cut out - but the cage is about 40kg?
Maybe around 900kg ish
I really love 2 - lovely focus, dof, movement
But I have to agree that I don't think a drift car really fits the "transport" theme
21 for me - superb shot
I wouldn't run rubber hoses through the car - they can breathe petrol fumes into the car
MOT people would frown on it I suspect - and it's waaaaay too easy to catch one and cut it
Even as standard the clio runs solid plastic pipe under the car
For the sake of a few quid - just buy some...
Yeah
I've decided to use it for the other thing it was built for - weekend B road blaster LOL
Gonna use the uniroyals up driving it about until October, then it's coming off the road for 6 months so can have some nice new tyres for christmas
LOL already rang Martin earlier mate and he sent me a copy of my invoice over so I can chase Bilstein now to get them sorted under warranty
He said my ears must have been burning because you were talking about me 5mins before I rang lol
And yes he did tell me how overjoyed he was with his spax...
Bit weird this - they've completely stopped creaking again
I got the car up today on axel stands to have a look over everything after Donington
Grabbing the main part of the damper and pulling/pushing back and forth there is a bit of play - I'd say it's about half a mm if that though - not...
