I'll get it jacked up this weekend and have a look - does sound about right though as last time it was up I noticed play in the wheels but it wasn't the wishbone bushes, bottom ball joints or track rods as they've all been replaced. Sounds identical to the issue you had
If I get them refurbed I...
Oh FFS
£860 suspension that's seen about 4-6000 miles of road use and the bearings have gone?
It's the worst money I've ever spent on my clio - I aint paying to get them refurbed as they've hardly been used
I'll be sending an email to Bilstein explaining what I think
I had a spax setup...
There isn't a top bearing as part of the B14's?
They have a top spring plate which sits under the standard renault bearing - but on mine I'm running Pure Motorsport top mounts and strut brace. I'm 90% sure that the play isn't in the top mounts
It definitely seems to be in the up/down motion -...
About 6 months ago when my car came back out the garage from winter I noticed occasionally when I braked a creaking noise from under the car. Sounded horrible and I panicked that I might have left some subframe bolts undone from fitting my 182 mani. I checked ALL the bolts and nothing was lose...
Well FCS was "interesting"
My 1st session out was red flagged and stopped - so only got a couple of short laps out
Then 2nd session on stone cold tyres a lad I know in a saxo comes hooning up through the S before the pit straight - way too fast, goes onto the grass, nearly clips the back end...
That's a PH1 though - they have a bolt hole already there for the removable tow hook
The PH2 172's have one welded to the bottom of the spare wheel well
I've asked this loads and no-one knows. I suspect you'd have to make up a bracket and get it all welded on
Yeah it was mate - but I was in the pits all morning and on track. Then I parked up on the 106owners stand in the afternoon as I had to man the marquee :(
I'll be at Cliosport Saturday though :)
Yeah - I've already had to kick the drivers one a few times to stop the door slamming on me in the wind while trying to climb out lol - they're plenty strong enough and that's what matters really
See you sunday mate :)
12 months seller warranty means you get a full exchange if it breaks in 12 months
Canon warranty means you send it away and wait a few weeks for it to be repaired
I've always had next day delivery with digigood lol
I did try to say ;) They're a superb company
Well worth the money James - the quality of them is awesome and they're such a wide angle you can see your steering/feet/driving in them - so I really like sitting and watching them back to see where I could have improved :)
Do a youtube search for go pro 1 and 2 comparison - a guy has done a load of side-by-side footage and the 2 is much sharper and a LOT better at low light levels
It also I think allows you to change the angle without changing the resolution. Version does ultra wide in everything except 1080p...
I don't find this - I've got a 16gb sd card in mine and the battery dies after about an hour and a half. I think that's due to using the LCD backpack to line it all up etc..
But as someone else said you can charge it while you use it. I bought a usb cigarette lighter socket adaptor and a 1m...
Yeah I was hoping to go over and take some pics but last minute family BBQ happened instead :(
I reckon we're going to have to get a load of the CS lot together for a Blyton day - it's quite local and cheap
I'll write the guide up when I get back from FCS sometime next week :)
That ebay seller - Digigood - are awesome
Had 3 lenses and my 7D came from them. They're only cheap because they import the stuff from the US but they put their own warranty on everything
I recommend them fully! :)
Absolutely no difference mate
Canon CLAIM that it has slightly better image quality - but basically it's just a design refresh. They swapped the silver ring for a black one, changed the font, made it look the same as all the current range. They did the same thing with the 18-55 when it went...
It's VERY VERY loud. I bought Harphams and a drive to Anglesey and back left me with ringing ears for 2 days.
My car is stripped so I guess it's quieter with interior - but IMO still way too loud
Fails a 98db limit which most UK tracks run. So I can only run mine at Anglesey at the moment lol...
Kinda skim read - but ermm yah
There are massive issues with very long zoom ranges, it compromises image quality. I got an 18-250 when I first started up and looking back at the photos from it they are VERY soft
The 55-250IS is a really good lens for the money - you need to try to get past...
