Welcome to the forum mate :)
I have had 3, one of them twice lol.
The spec over normal 172's are:
Scarab green paint
grey leather interior (inc door cards)
CD player instead of tape player
BBS alloy wheels unique to the Exclusive
The UK cars were numbered from 1-172 which is...
I do agree - with stripped cars you need to keep on top of how the interior is - with a normal car, having some dirt on the carpets doesn't show - a dirty stripped interior looks terrible lol, but on the flip side a clean one looks fantastic
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
I had one (Was my 2nd business car I sold) and had done about 160k, but drove like new - no sqeaks or rattles, and pulled like a b*****d on boost
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
Shouldn't you be at work Colshe?
I know Potter isn't as he just hogs the inside lanes of most motorways in the evenings :rasp:
Agree with Jay, check the starter - it has to be something that is causing the starter motor to not physically engage if when you turn the key it does nothing.
It could be the starter is a bit leggy and doesn't like working when it's hot - I have a spare one if needed x
All I will say is this, do your own research on the forum mate - you will hear stories from both sides, some have had no issues, others quite large ones so it's best to have a look and form your own opinion
I hope said company can pop on and give their opinions on this.
I will have the cup engine out within 45 mins of you have the monaco lump out, thats the challenge i'm setting myself - which is no mean feat when you think you will have the Monaco's engine out in about 20 minutes lol
New challenge then, we steal both ramps at your place, and see if we can get the engine out the monaco and into the cup in the same day - we can have a race on getting the engines out lol
Depends if you think you need a solid mount or not - I have had them and they create a bit more vibration, but tighten the feel up slightly, but if it's a near standard road car I'd get a standard one
