I bought new RS shocks with Pro's and that was brilliant for road driving.

Better acceleration i doubt you will notice anything dude - in fact maps tend to smooth out the 'kick' you get around 5000rpm, so it may actually feel a little slower as it will be smoother if that makes sense.Best two are RS Tuning in Leeds (Well worth the drive, iv done it twice) or...

What discs are you running mate? id leave the yellowstuff - used them in the Elise and stopped it very very well but gave absolutely no feel at all - not good for confindence

Not pads working loose is it?

Yeah its a right pain finding the odd noises mate, im doubting the cv boot clip only because they are flimsly little things and break often but are not big enough to make a noise loud enough to be heard inside the car

I doubt its cv if its not linked to wheel rotation - it could be a few loose ball bearings i suppose, but i doubt it mate - id say something is loose

Clicking when turning is a sympteom of cv joint wear, but not usually over bumps mate, it could be a number of or combination of a few things - id look at a knackered shocker/arb bush/wishbone bush for the knocking-is it a knock or definate click?

The light will most likely be due to the decat.Without hearing it, it does sound like a possible dephaser issue - thats new cambelt time - £600
