danny, does the noise they make mean they will fail and casue problems? or is the only problem they make the noise? mines getting quite loud now but isnt due a belt for ages so duno weather to get it changed or not?

What paste you using? If it's that White crap that sets hard then I imagine that's your problem. Take the system apart and reseal it inside and outside the joints with some black high temp silicon

Whooshy lol. Could be blowing as he floors it as the system will all move as the engine and exhaust is all suspended on rubber mounts

Yeh just put it on and enjoy the sound mate. Itl feel faster cos it's louder lol so bonus there. Might gain a bhp or 2 but nothing worth worrying about.

I've heard both and I'd say a ktec silenced, an when you decide to decat the ktec it does sound really nice

If your janspeed fits your stock cat then it will yeh. Janspeeds have a adjustable length at the joint at the cat. I've got a janspeed with nwp decat

If your gona spend that much then at least get a piperx , proven to be better than itg's and cheaper.

Get the sports version with centre silencer an decat, won't be too loud an you can still have overrun. My janspeed supersport with decat sounds like a beast when I give It some beans.

Like most others that aren't standard

Take off header cap. Take off pipes to drain it. Flush it clean with a hose pipe (block and rad). Fill with either Renault pre mixed stuff or halfords advanced. Bleed until no air buddles.

ah i do have the tuned blasing pretty loud, maybe ive just got used to it and forgot what standard sounded like lol.

fairly loud if you boot it, but if you take it stead its not too bad. Doesnt sound stupid like these corsas you seen nocking about with twin hienz baked bean cans sticking out the back lol.

ive got a supersports with decat and its very loud when thrshing but motorways at 65 you cant even hear it. The decat did liven it up alot though, sounds much better.

you sold it because you couldnt be bothered to sort the problem? or was it for sale anyway?

well yeh, most people buy stainless to replace the rotten stock ones which are about 1000 to replace so i cant see any coming up very often.

The pops only occur at over 4.5k rpm anyway so if your revving your car that much then you cant be too worried about fuel consumprion lol.

ktec or yoza would be what i would be looking for.

if you drive to jms for it done its about 180. You can do it with an rs tuner on 172's but not 182 yet as the map isnt availbable. And rs tuner will cost you 100 second hand, new lisence 50, pops map for 172's £20 so about the same as going to jms
