How is that even remotly going to help??
Most likly its the TDC sensor on the engine there terribale for failing £50 for a new one with the assocaitd wiring etc the sensor iteslef is £25 but you need the £25 wiring loom as ell.
None RS models can come with them fitted as stndard just depends oftne garages forget to reatach them.
No huge need for it earodynamicaly it does make a difference not that anyone would be able to tell best thing is it keeps the oil dripping of the gearbox and engine on the tray and keept the...
For the front yep you can get new rings. Just then lock them in place. You might be able to fix your old ones with some luck depends what its like.
Most place don't like doing it though as its a pain and can fail. the only perfect answers a new shaft plus many places don't know you cna buy...
Yep Mk2 phase 2 use the ABS system for the speedo however there are a few reputed 172 Mk2 phase2 very easy on in build which use the gearbox sensor unlikly to be this one though.
The dealership trying to refuse to do the work for free have to prove the cliam is due to the mod I woulnd't worry at all most dealers don't care since the partys can fail anyway so the mods would be difficul to blame and therefore the dealership not get paid by Renault uk.
French wiring eough said realy
TDC is the top dead center sensor get a garage to check it also known as crack shaft sensor. The ECU uses it to know there the piston is they fail a lot the new replacment one £50 with the extra wiring looms etc and its much better.
Rear bumper yep fits easy.
Front bumper well you need the front wings as well or you'r looking at trying to get someoen to bend the bumper to fit.
But you'll also need the front lights etc
What about a phase 1 172 front end?
Nop no less grip realy.
If your doing it for pure handing then sportline I think are the best but IMO I'd keep with stock. To make the setup better you need to spend a lot.
Always worth seeing what you think of the car first realy but IMo bin the stock wheels and get some beter lightweight or smaller (15's) or any other wheel as the stock wheels whilst looking nice arn't lightweight or good at cooling the brakes.
Get the intake manifold reworked then talk to Chipwizards or Pmury on here (both have good reputations Pmurry is cheaper though). Then get a decat for it.
I'm not convinced the 202 kit will make 202 at all.
Brakes and suspension though are the first things to be sorted depends hwo you like...
She's had it up for sale for ages I though the latest plan was not to sell it.
It was posted on CS aor elsewhere ages ago if i'm right but she had no luck selling and din't want to accept the huge loss in selling at a price it would sell at.
Got to say her idea of the note next to the...
Yep but it renders the tyre usless where often a cheap or free repair patch can fix it and tyre fitters hate the stuff.
Plus it doens't work for long if at all if the damage is i the side wall or a big hole in the tyre.
No spare wheel just a can of foam the wheel well is still there though. Its Imo a great idea and stupid not to put a full sized spare in there.
Yep it has driver and passenger airbags the side seat airbags are removed form the normal clio 172 spec though.
Dead easy go to search
Then type in "stock 172 tyre size"
Then look at the post
