Depends on the dealership. There are good dealerships out there. Check though you might be suprised.

Diesel will do 55mpg if you treat it hard. I get 50~55 on a long run and I don't drive with much care or love. 80 is easy with care.

Its quiote an accurate system realy light come on at 5 liter ie 1.1 gallon of fuel left. Fuel sensor though has a wide toleracne in it so the computers only as accurate as that. Anyway why leave it that low?
