8k a year IMo ins't good for an engine but then again if it does go wrong new engine s arn't that much plus 2.0 power is the usual route.

Whats compnaies advertise as a drop doesn't mena you'll end up with that exact drop.
Often bigger sells so compnaies have been known to exajouratere andyway springs alone don't give the best hanlding I'd only ever recomend chnaging springs and dampers to mathcing ones.
The big nut which holdes the caliper bracket to the hub is 17 or 18mm from memory.
The bolts which you need to be undoijg are the 13mm one on the caliper and holding the 17mm nut on the inside with a spanner.
It should only come on in the 182's for definate the 172's should all be fixed due to there programming being different. However even on 182's its not definate it will come on.
There no way thats likly to happen parts prices you can get discount for tracde but unless they lower there rates for the work then its not going to happen.
Plus you have to make sure it a garage who have the tools to do the job.
I'd either go to a manual rack or keep the PAS one. much better feedback that way.
Ligthen the front of the car if ou want to help with the weight or use it as an excuse to build up the muscles.
Just take up the sensor sensor wiring and tape it out the way ans stick the second sensor in the cupboard you don't need it. If you do fit and plus the sensor in you'll get a emmisions warning light.

Also jack the car up a bit more (so you get more leaverage as the bar car be used downwards and you work under the car, and just give it some more welly. Moll grips if you want to stop damaging the thread or if you do damge it...
£12 for the metal key from Renault takes a few days for delivery from france.
Fob is £50 ish then suppoed to be a quarter of an hour mosr places charge 1 hour minimum though.

It is possible but you need caliepr extender brackets making up not that difficult to do just need to get an engineering place to make two little brackets up.
