    yeh im going to have both the mk1 clocks and the aftermarket tacho working, aftermarket is velcro'd to the perspex on the clocks and can be removed and un plugged if need be :)

    my oil catch tank arrived today, cheaper and smaller (space is a bit of an issue) than most you can buy and just cos im sad :o a pic of Richard Hammond's Morgan Aeromax in the background which i am dealing with at work :cool:

    right i have a standard map from k-tec, if i get that loaded onto my ecu will that have its own range set up for the TPS? or will that need adjusting while its on the car and running?

    no, never looked into it is it worth it? will it make adjusting the angle of the engine more difficult? although saying that i noticed andy has one fitted....

    oh and after having a nosey at andy's car, i have decided to purchase a solid adjustable dog bone mount means i can tilt the engine slightly, which will help the downpipe seal, clear a bit of room for my bottom rad hose, and give more room for the ITB's and pipercross airbox/filter

    it's not difficult, but can be fiddly if everything else is still in place around it (rad, fuel rail guard, coolant pipes etc) as there's not alot of room to get your arms in there put very simply, it is a case of removing old oil filter, fitting new sandwich plate (i found fitting the hoses...

    i posted up something in the engines section about the coolant pipes, i found the website that produces them everyone said that after a bt of driving the coolant would discolour anyway so only look good on a show car they also put led's in the pipes to make the coolant glow
