Nope never came in the Uk with sunroof was an option abroad though I think.
Wiring looms are a pain there so many typres could just be a redundant plug.
As for the spare plug what colour are the wires I can have a look up for them.
The sensor is just there to work out the temperatire in...
Another word is geek.
The dci 100 is the best and easy fitment as such since the mounts are all there but an intercooler no use unless you start running more fuel. You need to decide how far to push the car or how much to spend a remap on there own can get upto 85hp quite safly they have...
£150 or so new I think there some cash back if you return your old one as they resue them.
Yep will mean 44 teeth all 172's are the same. Ring renault specilaist breakers in accrington (just stick that into google the number has 666 or somehting near the end of it) and ask for Matt he should...
Pressure depend what you like I'd run about 32 front and 30 at the back.
The dci 65 as standard never got an alarm it was a £300 extra. The way to tell is do you have the sensor on the door pillars and a flashing red light down by the gearstick? If you do then you have the alarm.
1.1 bar...
Arright sorry didn't know.
There Ok the 1.2's budget price engine plus they keep dealerships in warently work. ALso they keep the people who right tech notes in business.
I've no need to do it. I'm happy enough with my car its got a cheap to run engine in it and I do loads of miles.
If I were to do a transplant it wouldn't be a petrol due to DVLA difficulties I'd do a VAG 1.9 diesel.
The other thing is I'd do a whole job on the car binning the old loms etc...
Easy enough to replace.
Engine mount drivers side - 6000073669 £42.90 + vat
Engine mount rear stabiliser bar - 8200103802 £28.00 + vat
Engine mount pass side front - 7700795688 £30.45 + vat
Engine mount pass side rear ( under battery tray ) 8200089697 £20.31 + vat
Those prices are a bit old now.
If it needs a new cat and your under 3 years and 60k old then its a warently job ie you don't pay ring Renaul Uk say its not fit for purpose if it fails in the warently term regardless of what they say.
Its supposed to be 3.5 bar at 3k but using the wrong filters and wrong oil messes about with that should drop away to about .5 bar at idle. The biggest thing is check the pump works and the gauge works and it does up and down (abelityl slowly) as the engine geoes to higher resv some pumps are...
You don't need to take the dash out to change the stereo. Just stick 4 small screwdrivers down the 4 holes in the stero.
Fubar has a guide on his website on how to remove the dash top if you want.
If your chnaging pads then doing disk as well not much extra work just two bolt holding the caliper bracket on and two thorx bolt on the disk (if there still there). Only takes 5 minutes or so if your taking your time a side extra.
Thats normal gearbox behaviour you can pull a car out of gear if its nicly balenced putting it back more difficult got to ballence the revs. Its a good skill to try and master best doing it on courtesy car as at first you mess it up and its damaged the gearbox.
Its a good think to be able to...
Rust on the rear archs
Rust ont he back of the boot (they all do it though) rust on the bottom of the drivers doors plus the sills.
Damaged jacking points/bent sills.
Check the PAS pumps Ok (if its ok then its got to be faulty they all are bad)
Check for play in the stearing column (common...

Easy yep.
Get a Haynes manaul is the best way or become a member on here as there a guide in the forum members are how to do it on a 172 which is much the same.
£10k seems steap you could get a VAG engine for less fitted. Assuming its a DIY jobbie then CTR engine and box say £2k £1k for stand alone ECU then £1k for other bits shafts etc use the normal radaitor.
As said depends how bad say 10hp
10hp or so but your only at 166 stock anyway.
MPG won't be affected if anyhting might be better as mapping is more accurate. Only negative s if you use the extra power more.
