Fit it yourself there guides on stripping it down on the forum. You can buy the dials from places on the net do a google serach I've seen people post a white one up full size somewhere.
It would be easier than turbo I'd think plus more fun.
Forget turboing if its for track day IMO though its not going to be reliable enough rebuild the 2.0 bottom end then depends what you want cash wise if you want cams throttle bodies etc. Regardless just strip it like mad every last gram...
Under the terms of the warently you can demand one if they are going to take more than 24 hours to fix.
Even if they have to hire one from AVIS etc.
Have a look in your warently manual.
No problem.
Why not do a twin engined 2.0 transplant it would be cheaper (300hp stock) and IMO way more interesting possibly easier as well. Its been done before so it does work.
Ok twin engined on the road arn't legal I don't think but its more reliable. and with a few mods 340hp should be easy.
If your doing cambelt and want power stick some cams in at the same time cambelt is £400. The intake manifold rework is £180 then remap is £400 or so. GDI and Yozzaport plus BenR could sort cams with a remap and intake manifodl for an extra £800 or so and your looking at a nice increase in...
Should be fine could be a number of things sounds most like the coil packs died Renault should be able to daignose and sort it they have coil packs in stock as there a common problem.
Take it to Renault and ask them to sort it.
It might get worst on the way there not much you cna do unless you...
Best idea take it to a garage and ask them to look at it and wel the extra bracket it should have on the rear silencer.
There rust protection stuff you can use but surface rust is fine the problem is that they fail as there to much load on the rear box to pipe joint another bracket stops the...
72k/5 years the cambelt should be chnaged at its not much to do £150~250 at a garage including Renault places use a Renault garage though as they have the right tools to do this enough places have messed them up before now.
All of the none RS phase 2's have.
No, no point if its leaking form there take all the fluid out anway might as well chnage it all.
Eas way to do it is to pull the lower hose on the radiator and drop all the fluid in a bucket.
You know what your on about then best of luck.
IMO no point with the LSD most are badly made anyway. I'd dump the WIlliams/1.8 box and use a newer JC5 from a 172/182 the only problem would be that you loose the speedo unplut but that can be fixed.
Or better stll make a stronger box to fit...
What are you after and what have you got to spend?
Personally I'd spend on brakes and suspension and ignore engine tunning. Only thing to do is manifold work, remap, induction kit and exhaust/deact for power and nosie even then its costly but popular option.
The tank level sensors isn't that accurate anyway. The tolerances on it are quite large the milage left uses this as a guide to working out range but since its so inaccurate its not much use.
Check that your red low fule light does actually work first off might be a duff LED. but since the...
Resister pack sounds like its dead.
£80 or so for a new one I know someoen who's got hold of a second hand oen they don't want will drop them a message.
Yep Pmurry doesn't do cumstom remaps but his off the shelf is very good from what I've heard and if Ben trust him thats thats good enough for me.
£160 or so for the intake work.
Undo those three bolts and the collent will come pouring out take the fluid out first then get a new gasget or some gasget repair stuff if its coming from that. Stick that on and bolt back up.
The engine and gearbox are
Stronger
Lowered compression as standard and can take 280 brake stock (assuming your using the 210/225hp engine) They have been tested to 750hp onb stock capactiby off the shelf stuff in Europe will take you to 400hp. Stock internals are fine for 350hp.
Why...
