    HE had cams and remapped I'm sure. Thats sort of paower might be made with remap and cams or a very good rebuilt engine but unliky.

    7.1 hours of work from what I can rember I posted times etc up yesterday. Thats with a new pump you can keep the engine in if you just do the belt but to do the pump drop the engine out. Belts etc arn't that much its a common engine.

    Check the wiring again accross the frotn bumper take the bumper of might make it easier. At worst work out if one of the sets of wires is faily and use the other set to power both bulbs.

    V6 might be argued to be quicker but its not realy in production. Then again the 197 Cup racers would show them all up on track and upto about 130mph depending on gearing used. It maybe 30hp down but the gearbox and light weight helps. But if were letting them enter then the other Renault...

    Not very likly. Stock is 166hp. So that sort of gains on a stock mapping won't happen.

    Thinking about this check you have got fluid going to the radiator it might just the the heater matric is being used as a radiator as the thermosta isn't working.

    My personal view is the CUps are more powerful only because there usualy been hammered more from new plus they have no power sapping air con system and less tensions to reduce power. After all hybrids are often the quickiest cars as they don't have PAS pumps on the cars either. I think thats...

    There expensive because they're good. Forget Spax and Koni KW are similar to H and R a bit stiffer I think. Tein are Jap stuff so I don't think they do any CLio stuff plus its going to be a bit stiff for the UK roads.

    You can just tell them its worth less than £5k the only problem is they won't pay out if its stolen more than £5k.

    H and R's are supeb for the money FKs are good and much chepaer but if you can afford the extra H and Rs are worth it. Leda are arguably better but £1.2k.

    7~8 hours is more normal time. These clutch fititng specialist places are your best bet most places don't want the work as its so much work. £250 or so cash your looking at paying then get the clutch for £80 or so from Renault. Don't bother with any copy cat one its not worth the risk.

    Hill power I think sell one. Just use a new one and turn the rubber bush round 90degrees though is just as good.

    Ok so we don't see every topic. So your internal heater is just pumping out hot dair then? Try sticking a small battery to the fan see if its still working most likly your fans not comming on as it doens't need to as the heater is sucking all the heat up.

    Check the bottom ball joints top mount bearing also the waishbone and ARB bushes for wear. The ABS system does go though a self test though which is what you might be hearing. If Renault have chedked and modief the strut top then they will have chekced the other bits most likly.

    Jack up the passenger side and remove the wheel arch front arch liner bit and check the connetor block better still solder in a better connector in there.

    Could be any number of things I'c check ball joints top mounts wheel nuts are tight also check the engine dogbone mount for wear and adjust the engine mounts if they need it.

    £3k is a drive in drive out jobbie I belive. Any garage could do one GDI have done one. Most are done DIY for cost though. £500 to ~£1.5k your llooking at spending on labour depends where you go and if they want a project to prove themselves.
