Thats were the loose connection is, remove it and the solder the wires bypassing the connector.

Normally its the main one in the centre. You will have to take the wiper linkage out too.

Thats the airbag light russ is on about, you will have thrown out the steering wheel angle sensor. Best get it down to renault so they can re initialise it.

Wire brush, steam cleaner, engine cleaner.

EGR valve blocked/carboned up. Get it out and cleaned an the faults erased. :)

All d4f's and d7's have starter on the front.

One way to test the switch is to put the wipers on and put the car in reverse with the engine running, the rear wiper should wipe, but if it doesnt, the sensor is at fault.

Its located on top of the gearbox, not really visible untill you take the airbox off.

Sounds like a Crank sensor fault, very common throughout the renault range. Take it to a garage and get them to replace the sensor and loom with the new blue modified ones.

Key fob batteries will do nothing. Take it to a garage and stop replacing stuff!

Sounds like a key problem if the light is flashing.

You would be better off going to a scap yard and snipping an injector conector off another car and soldering it on yours.

Which one was it? Just as an example, I was working on a 197 and the problems were, brake lights on all the time, boot not opening, and rear wiper not working. This turned out to be a fuse for the interior lights!!

Try the 15amp one with the fan in a square Failing that try the one next to that 20amp with the picture of a wiper.

Is there not a picture that can help you on the fuse box lid?

Could be the fan motor its self of more commenly the resistor pack goes. This is fairly expensive and specific to climate control models

They run off one pump anyways also there not too bad to change. Check all the fuses on the passenger side of the dash.

There plastic wires (s**t idea I know) so full squib im afraid :)
