The cams will still move because the cambelt is still on all the pulleys. Its just jumped out of sync. You will find you can move the pulleys VERY freely with the cambelt off. This indicates damage. Also you will probably find the tappet rollers have all been smashed off.
I mean Renaults diagnostic machine (called clip) can go into the Instrument panel and change where it picks the signal up from on models with ABS and the diff pickup.
With it being autumn and all the s**t falling everywhere, I would check your scuttle pannel drains. Take all the trims off and mainly check the big one in the middle that comes through into the engine compartment. Iv seen this make the rear wet also.
If you just yank it you will break it, you need to undo it where it attaches to the trottle body, remove the breather pipe and remove the airfeed pipe at the front. Then it will lift off.
1st problem is the internal fan for the climate, theres nothing you can do execpt replace it.
2nd problem most probably low brake fluid level or a poorly adjusted handbrake switch.
