I know these threads always cause arguments and disagreements, but I need to decide by the end of the month....
I was set on KW's, but having seen Kamracing's offer on Bilstein's, I'm tempted.... They're about half the price of the kw's and other reviews seem to rate them pretty highly...
15" weighs 4.7kgs
That's very close to half the weight of the standard 1*2 wheels, when you account for unsprung weight making roughly 4x as much different as 'in car' weight, thats about an 80kg saving..... worth every penny IMO!
Mine are being delivered on Friday ;)
Jesus christ Kam, that's incredibly good value!
How do these compare to KW V2's??? I was set on these at the end of the month, but you may have just changed my mind.....
I've got a new style RS badge to go on the back of the cup, now I'm just trying to decide where I want to put it.....
Anyone got pictures of different badge formats on a 1*2??
I was thinking perhaps remove the clio badge as well and just have the new RS badge with the 'cup' badge above the...
You'll struggle to find many options that allow you to use a full size disk under 15's..... I'm currently looking at these as well. I think the jam sport offering is the best overall.
I've heard some awful stories about cars from Gatwick car centre. I'd avoid if I was you.
Also, I live in Crawley, so not far from you either.
Definitely cup ftw :)
Bare in mind that there's a few cups floating around with air con....
Rear brakes are really only for balance and stability under braking.... What makes you think that changing the bias would improve your braking performance??
Raceland / Rokkor and all the many other names they use.
They regularly come up on Ebay for around £170. None on there at the moment though.
If you want to spend a tad more, there's plenty of V-maxx coilovers on there.
The metro system they have is brilliant. 4 Euros and you can use any bus and any tram all day! Awesome!
But yes, whole lot to see, really amazing place.
Nope, you dont need shocks. It will come with all you need.
Coilovers shouldnt affect your insurance too much.... but its worth checking just in case. There's plenty of places that do fitting, I went with a mate of mine to have coilovers fitted on his Civic type R last week at a place in...
No point in getting springs bud. go for the coilovers. 100%
You'll get a great stance too.... nose down, really really low. If you buy springs, you get what you get, no adjustability.
Camber bolts arent much, about £15 or so.
I just had a look, there's none on ebay at the moment, but keep...
LOL. when did you text me bud? If it was over the weekend, I've been in Rome. i'll drop you a text as soon as mine arrive though.
You can get non sport coilovers for £150 mate, ebay. I think they're made by raceland? have a search on here though....
If you want to go low, coilovers is the...
You should have taken it to a specialist..........
Does he have the Renaultsport cam locking tools? they're different to the normal renault ones........
LOL.
They do have a lot of common problems.... if you weren't prepared to spend the rest of your days fixing things, you shouldn't have bought a Renaultsport ;)
Here's the list of 'common problems' that I have had over my 4 months of ownership..... hopefully it will make you feel a bit...
Very common problem.... Mine's broken too, i find brute force fixes it for a week or so, but it's getting less effective. I should stop being so lazy and just go and get one really!
I've never understood Why people get covers really.... Keep your seats looking nice, but you never get to see that they look nice, because they're covered.
As steve said, £200 for a retrim once every couple of years.... Not the end of the world.
