    Lightening flywheel

Yeah its in the red catalogue, look at the engine management section, they all do them, Omex, Micro Dynamics, Armtech etc. They basically are an add-on function to a normal rev limiter unit. The rev limiter on its own is not much use to me but if you get the one with FTG function, you get a...

    Hello

BMC airbox definitely results in an improvement -on the rolling road it has shown between 4 and 10bhp if I remember right from Simons mk1. Make sure you hook up the air feed right down to the bumper air intake.

    Brakes - Recomendations Please

If you dont want to spend £1500 you can forget a decent name, its as simple as that. So no Brembo, Tar-Ox or AP Racing for you! Wilwood are good brakes and do basically the same kind of systems as the big boys but at about 2/3 the cost. If you wanna be a real cheapskate then go for a...

    Lightening flywheel

Seeing as my whole car is in pieces at the moment with the engine out, I thought I might as well get the flywheel lightened and balanced - anyone here done it on a 16v or Willy who can tell me how it affects the way the car performs? Im expecting a lumpier idle (its lumpy anyway with my cams)...

    FOA Capt. Slarty

Seeing as this thread is FAO Captain Slarty, maybe you can sort this out Joe...theres a geezer in Iceland wanting to do a engine transplant into a 1.2 Clio (I think) and hes serious about wanting to squeeze a 172 lump in there and ship it out from the UK. Im sure on another thread you were...

    5th injector for f7p/f7r-it goes!!!

Nice move Jimbo, Ive been wondering if that kind of mod would do anything on its own. I kind of thought that adding more fuel wouldnt be much good if it took the mixture too rich, but obviously its done the trick for you...
