Cheers KK, shortshift I can do later, money is a bit tight at the moment, but I will definitely do it sometime this year.
Barry, cheers for the advice mate, I wasnt really too worried about revs dropping off between changes too much cos I always change up fast and blip the throttle on...
To be honest if youve got the skirts and the rear bumper you should have the matching front bumper.
BTW What made you get the rear bumper? IMHO you would have been better to get the front bumper and skirts only...
is that you Wattsy? If so Ill try and sort something out at Nitrous Solutions for you. You definitely need a progressive controller though if you want 100 hp. Youve got to budget for a grand though mate.
Cheap for the amount of power youll get though, itll be uncontrollable!!!
OK members - Donny South show is on at North Weald airfield near Harlow, Essex, on the 17th/18th August. Anyone whos been to Donny knows what a corker of a show it is, this is the first year of Donny South and it should be a cracker. Thanks to Kev M whos done all the groundwork for us, Cliosport...
I got mine last week, the lexus lights look good for the modern Clios. Shame they dont do them for old Clios though.
in fact David (K-Tec) how about some clear rear clusters or Lexus style for the rear of the old Phase 1/2/3 Clios (up to 98)? Theres always a lot of people asking about them.
As Cliocup said, the only advantage to having a higher rev limiter is the extra flexibility it gives you - eg in a long corner you might want to stay in gear even though you might be past the power band, or you can go past the power band and then change up to drop you right back in the middle of...
yes we looked into it early on in the year, but for that kind of event we need lots of members to commit to it very early on and cough up the money on time.
For example with book-a-track, they could have sorted out a track day for us to take 30-35 cars at around £100 each which is a good...

Definitely fit it! Its not gonna mess up the fuelling its just doing its job! ECU can control extra fuelling usually to give it the extra fuel it needs to keep the mix right. But you may need more fuel, if so ring up Hill Power and get it sorted!
nice one Ringer. Seriously everyone that is a good price on a private track day, just make sure you use Dot 5.1 fluid and leave the spare wheel at home.
I wonder if anyone would be able to handle a full 7 hours on the track? Half hour sessions are knackering enough!
Cooper - maybe they mixed up the V6 with the 172 - but torque steer doesnt really apply to a rwd car with the driven wheels having equal length driveshafts, they messed up in some other way I reckon.
Rich D - Yes the 106 Gti is quick, no doubt about it, one of those cars that is much more...
