Modifying the intake manifold will help otherwise you need individual throttle bodies for huge gains. Cams, headwork, manifold work, exhaust, remap and IK and your on 200hp or so. Exact power will depends on exact cam choice how good the engine is etc.
Center bore is 60.1mm
PCD 4 * 100 is what you need.
I canot remember what stock wheels I think there 42 in which carse 35 offset will be closer inwards by 7mm each side (assuming tyres the same width).
Probably 50~100kgs different you could help the weight out by removing weight from the front end ie battery and repositioning it to ensure the car isnt nose heavy.
Anyway fuel economy wont be much better. IMO a diesel would be an interesting conversion the costs wont be much different to...
No you dont have to declare them as they are standard items fitted at the factory.
The Renault brand manager Jeremy Townsend has veriefed this a few times.
There no stupid questions if you dont know your daft not asking.
Ive never had trouble changing plus without using the turbing just be very gently (I use my finger tips and gently turn them to make sure). But its best use tubing if you have some.
Im not sure abotu your engine just try clean...
Nope see my PM Saxo alloys are 98 or 108mm PCD they will look very similar bold spacing wise but they wont fit.
Also some Saxos use 58mm bores (other use 65mm) the Clio is 60.1mm center bore so to get another alloy to fit you need to have a center bore of the same size or bigger than 60.1mm...
Dont worry about damagin it I get my dci over 4.5k ever day and its been fine.
Id personally recomend changing the oil more often though say ever 6 months/6k.
After compairing mine to other Clio courtesy cars etc I know what you mean saying there over assisted. Mine arnt liek that I can use them 100% or whatever I want. My parents dont like the brakes i dont think they prefere the Yaris my brother has which is like other cars.
There must be...
How bad was the fluid at 50k? Im on 47k anyway at the moment got to ring next month as well. Ill be near 50k whilst Im there.
Ye I know what you mean that we have good setups but I was driving a Modus 80dci for a few days and the brakes on that are disk all round and bigger disk (it looked at...
Ok Im not talking about different calipers Im interesed as to why one cars brakes be better than another. My dcis brakes are superb a little give and then its very hard. Ive driven laods of different normal Clios a few 182s and a few other Renault cars and the brakes on mine are better in...
Yep Ive already made the list, manual rack (less weight is a good enough advantage plus less to go wrong), new bottom end and a 172 box (more relaible Id guess for track work). Id guess 185 (maybe 190) hp if ben is saying 180 from the mods hes listed but will be better mid range which would be...
That manifold so annoying. Its burning its way though supposidly heat resistant stuff without any trouble.
Anyway we all know the engine isnt optimum spec now a new bottom end and well have to see.
Mine on about 180 at fly (150 wheel proven I think)
Head work, 270 degree cams (piper I think), decat, exhaust, ITG filter, remap.
Its not cheap it all adds up.
Individual throtle bodies isnt cheap though the tunning above will cost less and on a good engine get about 185hp. Throttle...
You can now remap the stock ecu fastchip and bb and Hill power I think have the ability.
You need to runa chip if your have gone stuck cams etc in your car or have manifold work etc. The new maps etc mean that when the ECU goes to closed loop ie ie doesnt listen to the lambeda sensors (which...
1.9 or 2.2 tdi from a Laguna etc.
Then run more boost and fiddle the injectors. If you can get a spare engine cheap run the injectors as wide as you can accept youll smoke like mad and if you do blow engine you have a spare.
Check for any damage and any running problems with the engine.
Not much to worry about specificattly thoug chck the oil though as well thats its been checked as they can burn a bit of oil.
Yep they will fit as Fred said the new Clio mk2 2c have the same disks as the Williams/1.8 16V They are from my Williams I took them off as the calipers bleed nipple rusted up and had to upgrade to 4 pots.
Ive got my 280mm ktec big disk conversion for sale £80 its yours You need nw pads but ther eonly £17 from Halfords or Ive got a set here for that price. . Ill even fit it if your local to the N/W chester area. Pics are in the other for sale area. The only problem is there heavy so p and p will...
You can get big brake conversion using stock calipers just bigger disks if you want. Fred has bigger disks and 4 pots. Or Mark at Richspeed sells 4 pots using stock disks which i can highly recomend as Ive got a set and you dont need big disks unless you want them for looks.
Id leave it there my tops have rusted so having some oil on them will help protect them. Just make sure its not to much as it might gon down the nut and loosen it.
192hp.
Dont forget the 182 is what £14k list then there £500 for both suspension kits £350 for metalic paint and £300 for cd changer. Assuming they give this spec as standard then the list for a 182 at this price is jus over £15k. People are paying about £12~12.5k from a dealer for 182s and...
Cannot wait to see the result from this.
I though this engine wasnt going to go on the road.
Whats he doing about an exhaust cannot see the marshalls loving his exhaust.
