POR15 applied to the areas that have been treated

I did a little clean up where there was a little surface rust formed around the rear end. I used POR 3 stage tretment after sanding the surface rust away. Around where the springs are seated were cleaned up and treated.

Anybody have the list of parts and lengths required for what i need to install the battery in the boot ? Or does somebody already make a set to lengths and crimp etc would be ideal as i dont have the crimp tool ?

Need to install engine bay wiring loom , needs the looms from the iceberg shell for the doors and rear lights. Need drivers door from iceberg and both glass unless i go for perspex windows 🤔. What do people think ? Perspex or glass windows ? Also have cage colour ? Whats peoples thoughts ?

Managed to get the seat subframe and slider fitted. Only have 1 seat for this at the moment . May buy another or just borrow one from the red clio as and when ! Abit snug but im a stone heavier afterna year of munching ! 😂😂

Master cylinder fitted and fluid filled up to check for leaks on the lines and there was a leak ! Sorted now ! Injectors installed , ignition leads and coilpack fitted. Radiator and hoses clipped up but have a new radiator on order. Wiring loom next and electrical bits 🙈

Yes i will just go for that then and keep the 90w for the nissan. Not worth the risk for the sake off buying that

I have redline mt 75w90 , would there be any issues using that opposed to 75w80 ??

I use the redline mtl in the nissan , yeah thats why i wanted to check as i know the jc5 likes to self destruct 😂. I will makesure i get either one of these then. Whichever works out best price or can get in so i can do it this weekend

Hi , just been having a nose for gearbox oil requirements. Ive seen 75w80 elf Nfj pop up ? Is this what i need and around 3 litres per box ? Need for 2 gearboxes. Is this what people recommend or any other manufacturer ? I think ive only used elf in the past when ordered oils via renault ?

Any ideas of length this bolt is for mounting cup alternator to bracket , i have adjuster bolt , im away from home for work so need to order something to suit for the weekend

Drivers side driveshaft installed , was abit more of a pain as the driveshaft didnt have the spline sleave to connect to the output shaft on the gearbox so had to remove from a old shaft.

Need to move onto the cooling system next week , got new set of hoses to install as i sold my blue set and then look at installing wiring loom Shame to put a wiring loom in ! Any ideas for making the stock wiring loom any better ?

Got the steering wheel fitted and fitted the ignition barrel and uch.

The key fob snapped of the key blade , but assuming i could put the chip in a new casing ? Had to get the pliers on thr key balde as it was jammed in order to remove barrel. I have a full lock set on my iceberg so was planning to fit this to my white build as i dont have the door locks anyway...

I have a dodgy ignition key barrel , assuming there are no issues installing a different one ? I have 3 sets of locks and ecu and uch modules . Aslong as the ecu and uch are matching pair ?

Dash back out and refitted , had to undo steering column and get it aligned. All bolted back , need to sort epas wiring out once i purchase the contriller.

Trial fitted the dash back in but will need to remove to sort the dash bar.

Got the dash support bar and wiring loom roughly in place. I had spotted something by ignition barrel so will need to address that tomorrow.

Removed the aircon from the heater box tonight and got the heater matrix bolted in place , can make a start on fitting the interior loom and dash into the car. The hole that needs to be filled 😂 Heater matrix bolted up, will have to put some rivnuts in possibly at the top.
