172 Clio into an R5 GTT

that'll work. Just give a slightly lumpy/jerky transition between idle and driving

172 Clio into an R5 GTT

ph1 just has a hole for an ICV. not much else that'd cause a problem. This will need an ICV though if it's on standard ECU :)

    Racing Blue 182 Turbo

    I've seen 286bhp @ 0.9bar on a 1.8 with a T28, and 294bhp @ 0.8bar on a GT28RS

    Williams on throttle bodies Pics

It's in a valver anyway. And it's definitely a 2 litre head. Might be a 19 stat housing. Prima built it up years ago originally, I just rebuilt the head

Mk1 F4R/172'd Track Car Project [Year 3 - Engine and Chassis Rebuild]

Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project too much for anything good to work in :( I've had a couple that I've shared, but you need to be sharing with people you trust and like. It's so much hastle if you get somewhere big and one person pulls out. Lucky I can do my cars at work now really

My cup only revs to 7k

probably gauge inacuracy, I've seen more than 200rpm differences between the gauge and the diagnostics readout

    Induction Air Feed for 197

changing to wasted spark isn't the biggest issue, that's relatively cheap. You need control of the inlet cam. It's constantly variable rather than just a switch between 2 positions like the 172/182 runs, and not running this loses huge amounts of torque through the rev range. This is why we...

    Racing Blue 182 Turbo

exhaust housing glowing isn't too unusual, just displays high EGTs....but it's a turbo, you normally map the fueling richer on boosted engines because of this. It's intake air temp I was refering to I've used T28 and GT28r turbos on a lot of engines (nissans 1.8 and 2 litre in the main) Past...

    Racing Blue 182 Turbo

run it at 1.4 bar then ;) it'll happen quicker In honesty I'd be surprised if you could do more than spike momentarily to that boost anyway. The air will be superheated, so you'll gain very little, and the intercooler you have certainly wont be enough in that instance. Bigger turbo will flow...

sump socket size for clio 197

    the internet is for p**n. It's 8mm

    Racing Blue 182 Turbo

1.4 bar is too much for that turbo. well out of it's efficency band, and it wont last. Want more power, you should get a GT28RS
  17. S

sump socket size for clio 197

sump plug is an 8mm square. About £6 for the socket from halfrauds
  18. S

    Turbo 1.4 16V

should be able to get one for about £50. I'm quite up for this too, though I'd probably start with the turbo'd version from a mk3/twingo

    197 or 1*2

as standard I'd have to say i prefer the 172. 197 is crying out for a turbo, the chassis is fantastic though
