I use a lightweight pulley on my Cup alternator. Don't forget that the light weight pulley is also a larger diameter to lower the current draw so you may need a slightly longer belt than that.

You can pick up 15" slicks from the Ginetta series if you were to move to a 15" rim bujt I wouldn't recommend going to slicks without a suspension that can handle it. Chances are your springs will be way too soft on your coilovers.

Yes, clogging oilways and getting caught in the oil pick up on the pump is the issue.
I’ve taken several engines apart and found silicone on the mesh of the pickup.
The anaerobic sealant goes rock solid in the joint but any excess stays fluid so it’s much safer.

It’s probably a reconditioned one so there is a chance that the casings are not the same.

Doesn't matter what you coat them in I think. If you use a lighter colour it's just going to go this way. Mine are regularly coated with VHT paint and after one outing return to this too.
I had exactly the same with them on the race car and standard callipers.
Great pads but too aggressive and destroy discs.

I have a bar welded between the 2 shock turrets. Independent of the cage. Maybe you can find a local fabricator to do this? Shouldn’t be too costly.

If you’re only doing track days a 4 point will be fine. (5 point is better but more awkward) Without a cage you just need to find a way of mounting the shoulder straps behind you.
