I believe you can but £50 for something that looks nice and makes very little if any difference in performance seems a lot to me.

I'd rather pay £250-300 for a sports cat than be fleeced on a roadside emissions check for a grand. Also, you don't have the hassle of changing it back etc at MOT time or the extra noise. Each to their own though:D

Which type have you gone for ..the sports of the pro springs? Are they on standard shocks or are those being changed as well?

Agree..no where near as pretty as the Renault...ST just looks like it's been penned by some kid with a copy of Max power nearby for reference. Same goes for the Focus ST too

Agree with you Always make me laugh when people bang on about 'pissing over' and 'wasting' evos, Subarus, Porsches etc, etc...like you say, the car is still what it is at the end of the day no matter how much money you pour into it.

Renault reccomend brake fluid change at 24k/4yrs along with the coolant.

Nothing to choose between them...both good brands anyway so just go for the Pipercross one.

Not overated at all I don't know what what wrong with the Golf I drove then (2.0 TDi)...the handling was awful. Oh yeah...both Focus and Fiesta ST models look s**t
