Not being rude but you don't know alot do you?
As i said above a 0W40 is the same thickness as a 5W40 at 100 deg, as oil looses viscosity(thins) as it heats up it stands to reason that the oil will be thicker then its cold, and so will not thicken up after 10-15 mins.
When its cold it will be...

The number at teh start has no beraring on teh thickness of the oil when warm, any *W40 oilo will be the same viscosity at 100 degs , the number infront simply represents its viscosity at room temp, ie how much protection you have from cold.
0W40 is a good choice in the winter
IIRC you can use any JB** box its justa case of finding one with short ratios, try to Renault Kangoo box, mark ritchspeed used to/does run that on his rally car....mk1 clio, you useing the 172??
Yeah i've got an RSi, there are people on there, like edde with mk2 clios.....as edde said its the person you are and your attitude that determines whether you are accepted, not what you drive
Welcome, check out www.williamsclio.co.uk, often get better advice, and find parts etc better for the mk1 clios over there, too mk2 clio orientated here now
Certainly on teh mk1 clios you can relocated the IK down behind the front bumper.
The vents int eh wings will only work of you relocate teh filter inot the wing, whcih isn't a bad idea, although i can't see the need for the vents in the wing if you do that.
On the mk1 clio again hill power...
Back to the question tho, i woudln't have it, for starters the cup racers rev to some stupidly hihgh figure, tehre will be no point on a std engine as peak power wil be just under the existing limiter, and if you rev a std engine that high its likley to blow up, as cup race engines are blueprinted
If you want a de-cat i do them for £35 delivered brand new for all the MK1 clios.
De-cat for valvers is around 10mm shorter, most places do one de-cat for both, whats 5mm in an exhaust system....nothing lol
Only williams is massivly different.
DISCLAIMER: I cannot do de-cats for ANY mk2 clio...
GSF will be the cheapest place for hoses i woudl imagine, smaco hoses imo are a waste of time, they perform exactly the same as normal rubber hoses.
I'd stick with a 16v rad personally, they get hot enough as it is
When its cold you'll get water vapour out the back from the exhaust system, but this will go when its warmed up, defo shouln'dt get any when tehcar is warm.
If the head gasket has gone check for loss of coolant/oil and mayo liek substance under the oil filler cap, and an oily residue in the...
