Yeah have to do it in a certain order....only know the sequence for mk1 clios.
I THINK its a different colour.....this is the way i did it and how Ben R told me to do it.
Have a look in teh haynes for the capacity of the system and when you've put just over that amount in you have all new fluid :)
Yeah, thats what i used, bit more concentrated than what tehy recommend IIRC, but i thought better to make it more concentrated :)
Did you only put 3 ltrs of coolant in, thoguht they took teh best part of 5 ltrs.
When you are bleeding it and it starts to run without bubbles let it run a bit...
Justkeep bleed ing teh brakes and topping up the system with new fluid till the fluid you are bleeding out is the new stuff.
If uyou drain the whole system its a c**t and a half to get all the air out
Bleed teh rad, and then let it run till the fan kicks in wiht the cap off the coolant bottle, hopefully shoudl bleed the system too.
Also sounds a stupid question, but check that you put the right mix of coolant in, if its too weak it could be casuing your problems.
If you aren't happy mixing...
I have NO plastic in the back of mine and mine creaks, as well as the window mechanism int eh passenger door rattling, its just somethign you have to put up wiht if you want a hardcore stripped out car......be hardcore and put up with it....or be softcore and put your interior back in
Some do with a de-cat some dont', mine still doens't even wiht a de-cat and stragith through centre section, need to get it remapped, get teh fueling right lol.
I can do brand new de-cats for the mk1 clio For £35 delivered, sorry can't do them for the mk2 clio
Some valvers have a liquid:liquid oil cooler...others don't alot depnds on phase.
The ph1's lacked alot of the toys etc that teh ph2's have....airbag...ABS....not all good things
No......screws will still allow movement, if you are gonna fit a strut brace you need ot bolt it on properly or it won't do the job its inteneded to do
Wheel bearing, but stange for it to do that so suddenly. Try taking wheels off and putting them back on. Jack car up and spin wheel and see if there is any noises, like a grinding sorta noise that indicates wheel bearing has gone. Also see if there is any moverment in the wheel from top to bottem
Clean teh seal between glass and frame, and soften it up with soap, and then coat with vasaline. Check this isn't split/cracked etc Check connection between arial and roof, and if necessary silicone the underside of the arial, as there is no seal on this. FINAL resort, remove sunroof...
its a pain in teh ass job, dash has to be pulled forward, and even thern its tight, easier to get to wiht dash off, but its easeir to pull it forward and struggle than completely remove it
It is, but you need to abit of wrenching etc, just push and pull and hold and get teh screws in and they will be fine.
Tok me 40 mins last tiem i swapped mine around, from getting tools out to packing them up :D
